Trout Pond Rec Area is located in the Lee Ranger District, George Washington and Jefferson National Forest (1 hr 4 min west of Winchester, VA) with an elevation of 1,978 feet. There are a total of 38 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the end of October. 35 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 11 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $25.00 to $65.00. Some amenities include shower, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include fishing, hiking trails.
Tygart Lake Campground is part of Tygart Lake State Park in West Virginia (41 min east of Clarksburg, WV) with an elevation of 1,169 feet. There are a total of 35 campsites including 1 cabin. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. 10 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 12 months in advance. 10 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $23.58 to $28.30. Some amenities include shower, playground, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include hiking trails.
