Bulltown Camp in Braxton county is located 1 hr 7 min southwest of Clarksburg, WV with an elevation of 857 feet. There are a total of 204 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to the end of November. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 98 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 134 sites have electric and water hookups. 70 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $28.00 to $40.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, restroom, ramada, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, water skiing, floating sports.

This was without a doubt the cleanest COE Park we have stayed at, we spoke with a couple of the employees/volunteers and it was obvious they took pride in the park and their contributions. They had a strong volunteer program and even a very nice section just for them to stay called Volunteer Village. The park itself is beautiful and well laid out with nice bath houses, a kids playground in every section including the group area. It is also part of a historic site, the old Bulltown village and the site of a civil war Battle, the battle of Bulltown. There are a number of 1800's era homes and buildings, some built there and others moved in from nearby. The only negative is that there is no cell signal of any kind unless you hike up a very long steep hill or drive 15-20 minutes to a nearby small town. Great park, we intend to return!

We did. It care for the site we picked, it was on a hill with no shade. However it had a beautiful view of the lake. That being said m, we had a great time. Bulltown is a favorite of ours.

Great Lake front view. C16. Easy access to lake. Downfall of this campground. Theres no amenities, like putt putt/ jumping pillow. However we love this campground and has become an annual event for our friends to gather every year !!!

Beautiful campground on the lake. Plenty of bathouses, playgrounds, picnic shelters swimming and boating. Great place to kayak and separate swimming area if needed. Great walking and biking trails. Private but not too far out if you've forgotten anything or like to go to out of the way places. A lot of history in Bulltown.

Very nice campground. Sites along the waterfront allow someone to get into the water, many have small posts to hook your floating toys to. Water was clean and refreshing on a super hot day. Bathroom was clean except for the showers which were a bit mildewed. Definitely worth a return visit even with the total lack of cell phone coverage.

This was a wonderful campground and a great campsite. Restrooms/shower rooms in every loop included trash bins in every loop. Nice hot showers, park rangers, park hosts driving through the loops where people are camping and giving you a very safe and secure environment It was so relaxing and a wonderful campsite after the prior campgrounds I was at.

We recently stayed in D loop on the water which is always a great experience. The only issue that we had this trip was that a storm had passed through a few days prior to our visit which caused the power to be out for about the 1st 24 hrs. We would have appreciated a heads up on this so that we had our generator in tow with us rather than when we checking in. Other than that small issue, always have a great time at this location!!
