Jess Judy Campground, Cabins, WV

Jess Judy Campground is located in the Potomac Ranger District of the Monongahela National Forest (1 hr 38 min northwest of Harrisonburg, VA) with an elevation of 1,498 feet. There are a total of 3 campsites which are all tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid October. All sites are currently reservable. There is a fee of $50.00 per night.

Great time as always despite low water, excessive heat and flies like no time in the past 25 years. Campsites seem to be shrinking, but camp managers are friendly and helpful.

Jess Judy is a wonderful location for large groups-we have fun tubing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, star watching. We love it!

you may rent the sites, but locals think they have the right to come in, park and fish or swim at the campground area. just be prepared to miss the hooks while you swim

Nice open area along the south fork of the south branch of the Potomac River. Beautiful area. Nice hike up nearby Eagle Rock.

We had a blast tubing the river from Jess Judy to the parking lot at Big Bend. The loop took about 2.5 hours. Perfect for a morning float, lunch break and afternoon float. Bring extra tubes, some of the rocks are sharp. We are working on planing our next trip now, cannot wait to go back.

Glenn had the sites in perfect shape and ready for us. Only problem we had was locals coming in and dumping their trash in camp cans. Parking in our sites and making it a public river access.
