Kanawha State Forest's combination of rich history, natural beauty, and recreational activities makes it a must-visit destination for families and adventure seekers alike.

Kanawha Campground is part of Kanawha State Forest in West Virginia (just 16 min south of Charleston, WV) with an elevation of 701 feet. There are a total of 41 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of November. 19 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 70 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 12 months in advance. 22 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $25.47 to $31.13.
