Seven Points Campground in Huntingdon county is located 54 min east of Altoona, PA with an elevation of 953 feet. There are a total of 266 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. 249 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 15 and 140 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 249 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $28.00 to $46.00.

We stayed at site 182 at Seven Points Campground. Great view of the water. The weather was crisp and clear and since it was in September there were fewer campers, and it was peaceful and quiet. We did some great hiking and otherwise just relaxed.

Great place to camp and the lake is beautiful. Have camped here about 10 times in the past three years. Most campsites are pretty nice, some are a little cramped. The showers are due for an overhaul.

This campground is one of the better campgrounds we've been to. They have large sites. The marina and beach are very accessible. The grounds are clean and the Park Rangers were very nice, approachable, and knowledgeable. Would lie to suggest to build a pickle ball court for those who are not in to boating.

Very nice campground overall. I gave 3 stars because if bath houses. Bath houses need some type if ceiling fans for air circulation, especially in summer months. We stayed in SCAMP and the mens bathhouse only had 1 toilet, when you have a campground full of men you need more than 1 shitter, take out the urinals and replace with toilets. Also I think the bath houses could use a very good pressure wash to clean the walls of the showers and the floors.

The Army Corps of Engineers did an excellent job with the facilities. Well designed, clean and kept. Lots to do here with a fantastic beach.

Worst trip I have had in years

I booked site 164A to be away from trailers, but did not realize that the Bay campground does not have showers. I was disappointed that I had to drive to take a shower, since my tent does not have one. You can feel the sarcasm since all other campgrounds within Seven Points do have shows, you know, the one with the trails and showers in them. Also there are NOT enough toilets for all, guess what, the folks with the fancy RVs and camper also use the public toilets. Overall a very poor campground design. Too bad because the location of SP is wonderful.

We enjoyed the darkness and quietness that the park offered along with the pristine waters at the swimming beach, the bike park was awesome as well. We didn't enjoy how close and on top of each other the sites are in the campground. Overall, glad we went.. maybe we'll come visit again for the bike park & beach another time.

Great campground... large sites (we stayed in site #183), well maintained campground, bathrooms/shower areas in the Senio Loop were clean. Place at the marina to rent pontoon boats (reserve in advance). If we are in the area again I'd definitely stay here.

We do an annual camping trip here every year, and we always love it. The campsites are top notch, the biking trails are fun, and the lake is wonderful.

Very nice large campsite, big spot for our tent and room for the kids to play. Playground was close for them and bathrooms. Would definitely stay there again!
