63-c. Wonderful site. Close to the river so we were able to walk down and dip our toes. The sound of the water was beautiful too. Level campsite and friendly staff. Clean and tidy bathrooms and drinking water.

I did not enjoy this campground at all. I read the sites were "spaced out" but what they don't say is the whole place is flat with no trees so you and the other campers are just staring at each other. I stayed in Crane Flat the night before and the sites have more privacy. Wawona is right by the road and i could barely hear the crackle of the campfire with the number of cars driving south until almost 10pm. So many cars. This was not a holiday weekend. Would not recommend this campground or stay here again.

Nice campground. Quiet. Great spot, plenty of room. Clean bathrooms.

Clean facilities. Great campground. Except for the low-life next to us that took down their camp at 3am talking loudly and slamming the car doors for an hour.Not much the park service can do about that. Some people are just inconsiderate a--holes.

Staff were very friendly, trash cans within reasonable distance and the campsites were very clean. Wish there was more shade, ill have to preview sites before purchasing next time.

Site 25 right across from restrooms was perfect!

We had a lovely stay for one night in Wawona. We stayed overnight in our car to be close to all the hiking paths in Yosemite. We made dinner on the provided grill.

Unfortunately we did not make it, however I know we would have had a great time!

I rarely stay at NPS campgrounds & unfortunately this experience will only reinforce that. We arrived to a site with garbage scattered about as well as a little end table left from a previous camper. The fire ring had no less than 4 inches of ash in it, making it difficult to enjoy a fire. No showers & no dishwashing station. Our site was close to the river, which was nice, but beware the highway is up the hill directly behind the site. Overall, for $36 a night, I expect better conditions.

Campground was great but got charged for 3 nights at 3 separate spots as well as not accepting my Golden Age Passport. Paid over $150 for our first night regular spot.

It was so beautiful, and the check in / gate folks were very helpful.

Exactly what we needed! Site needs a shower but just a trip to the valley took care of that. Beautiful site, no complaints.

The campground is very beautiful, on the banks of the river with small beaches for swimming.The sites are spacious and practical for setting up tents.The toilets are in good condition and clean.The campground is near Mariposa Grove and the giant sequoias.We had a very good night.

I think we got the best campsite! Campsite 004 has a lot of land and is somewhat private. It's also not to far from the stream
@SharmilaK996E0 · Camped on Aug 12, 2024 at Campsite #30
This is our first time camping and wawona is one gem in the Yosemite. It is secluded from Yosemite valley and Merced River flows near by the campground. We enjoyed our stay there and spent more time near river. Only thing is they don't have showers but it is a great place for camping.

We had one night before a backpack trip out of Glacier Point. Campsite was nice.Bathrooms could use a little TLC/refresh but everything was functional.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
