Site B was nice and big but not super private by anymeans. Theres a nice wood station there and brand new bathrooms. Overall good stay for the 12 of us.

I've been camping at Osceola Vista for many years. It's a wonderful and relaxing place with a great view of Mt. Osceola, one of my favorite climbs. I understand that the National Forest Service may be sub-contracting the operation to a third party, (if it goes through), who will make some drastic changes to the campground. Some that I learned about are, Cutting the sites up smaller so they can add more, and limiting two cars to each site. This will take away a great group camping spot. Campton Group Campground was already lost to the flood a few years ago and is now a day use area only. Russell Pond does not offer group camping. I hope the powers that be will reject this idea and keep Osceola Vista as is, allowing groups such as Boy or Girl Scouts and others to experience one of the best group camping areas in the White Mountains. Thank you.

We are a Boy Scout troop, and we have booked this campground for years, because it has good group sites and is an excellent "base camp" from which to launch off to mountain hikes and other activities. We used to love it, as it is relatively remote and primitive; however in recent years there has been an influx of groups that have no respect for the outdoors and other campers. Much to our dismay and sadness, during our stay this time the campground was FILLED with raucous groups who were conducting boisterous parties; the loud talking, singing, sharp laughter, and party music went on til way past midnight. Definitely NOT the kind of camping experience we hoped for for our younger scouts! On the second night (possibly worse than the first night) the ranger came by about 10:30 pm and spoke to the people (and they subsequently settled down some) but he is taking care of two campgrounds and wasn't able to be there the first night. We have had loud, thoughtless neighbor groups in previous years, but this was definitely the worst ever. We will, unfortunately, be seeking alternative camping options next year.

Place was great, quiet, spacious and had a good view. There were bear proof dumpsters on site and firewood you can buy. There were portapotties on site that were clean. There may have been showers but I never went inside to confirm.

Love this campground! Clean, quiet and amazing views. Wish the road was in a little better shape coming in on Tripoli Rd. Makes it a little dicey going thru the giant potholes with the RV, but that’s our only complaint. We have been camping here for 20+ years!

I have camped here numerous times over the past 15-20 years. I love the out-of-the-way location, "hard" to get here, but much worth it! Great view of Mt. Oceola. The campsites are spacious, with healthy grass (not sand and dirt like so many other campgrounds) nicely wooded borders for privacy and adequate facilities. The campground is perfect for families and groups. The host was friendly and helpful. Nearby attractions (Waterville Valley) and hiking trails for all abilities are nearby. I camped there one time in early fall and was the only one in the entire campground - a bit spooky, but peaceful in its solitude. This is my favorite White Mtns campground. Highly recommended!

Beautiful spot. Great staff support. Downside: relentless bear the entire stay…we were unable to eat.

I stayed at Campsite D - a group of 15-20 arrived at about 9 PM on the evening of 6.17.2022They set up at least 10 tents and were extremely disruptive long after 10 PM - as in midnight. Rude and inconsiderate of campers that need to get a good night's rest for a 4k hike the next morning. Where are the folks that are supposed to monitor the campgrounds???

Great campground It would be nice if the road leading into the campground (Triploi) road was fixed. There are a large amount of potholes and it makes it difficult to get into the campground

The caretaker was very welcoming and the other campers were fun but not too rowdy. Beautiful views of Osceola, East Osceola and the tripyramids. Very big campsite!

Good, clean sites that are off the beaten track relatively speaking. Some sites are quite nicely isolated from the other group sites. The hand pump is a quaint feature that requires a bucket to collect water. Bears in the area require keeping food and garbage out of reach. Good hiking access.

This is a beautiful location and very close to some excellent hiking. The camp is well maintained by the current hosts (Ben and Nancy) who are very kind and helpful. It can get loud if a larger group shows up and camps next to you like I had. On balance the good outweighs the negative here.

Osceola Vista Campground ⛺️ is a beautiful spot nestled in the White mountains, the starry nights are amazing, fresh water and a stream to wade or swim in. Ben the attendant is a great guy and the Park rangers are very respectful and courteous!!!
@JillG376 · Camped on Jun 11, 2021 at Campsite #F
The campground hosts were absolutely great. The other campers, not so much. Many of the sites are very open and while it is great that large families can gather here, so can large groups with the intent to party. We were the only family in a campground full of people with enough alcohol to put the local liquor stores to shame. Needless to say there was music, loud shouting, dogs barking till 2:00 am. No 5 year old should be crying in a Forest Service campground because all they want to do is sleep. There are tons of wonderful hikes and fishing nearby, but for the love of Pete, please, if you're going to party at a FS campground up shut at quiet hours so you don't ruin other folks camping trips.

Great group camping spot.

Very close to Mt Tecumseh and Osceola. The campground is simple, it has pit toilets and a well for water. The camp host was amazing, he answered all of our questions about the area and kept control of the people who were a bit on the wilder side. Overall a great place to stay, highly recommend.

We were just 4 people surrounded by very large groups. We were really nervous that things would get loud but were pleasantly surprised when it didn’t. Love this campground! Hoping those man eating potholes On the way in get fixed soon!

Great base camp location for hikes in the White Mountains! We summitted Osceola and East Peak which was a fabulous hike.
@CourtneyL551 · Camped on Aug 30, 2019 at Campsite #L
Loved the location and the campground. The spot was a little small for the amount of people allowed on the site and the vehicles barely fit. Loved the place just needed more space.
@AlbertR922 · Camped on Aug 3, 2019 at Campsite #J
One of our favorite places to camp in all of NH. No frills, hand pumps for water and pit toilets, but we like it that way. Very close to plenty of wonderful hiking and we love the view of the mountains from the big. We will visit again and again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
