Wildwood is a very pleasant, wooded, quiet campground. Water faucets and pit toilets were conveniently located and clean. The adjacent Wildwood picnic area and the nearby Beaver Pond are great features.

Camp host was very nice. I recommend checking out the nearby beaver brook trail. Beautiful (and strenuous) hike

Wildwood is a relaxing, wooded campground. We heard the sounds of the brook at night and the songbirds in the morning. Restrooms are basic outhouses, but they were very clean. Road noise was minimal and intermittent.

If you're looking for a rustic getaway than this is the place. 8.5 miles out of town, little to no cel service (pending on you carrier), placed in the middle of nowhere. The host Byron was very nice and friendly. Stopped by our site after check in time to introduce himself. Ended up staying at the site for a few minutes being chatty and friendly. Will definitely be planning trips back here.

Great place, peaceful and easy access to hiking.

The campground is quiet and without frills. Sites are nicely distanced, wooded, and private. Pit toilets are clean and odor-free. The campground host was friendly and accommodating. Conveniences are within a 10 minute drive. We used it as a base camp for paddling the CT River and exploring nearby ponds and hikes.

A very nice quiet campground. Greg the host is very accommodating and greets you with his knowledge of the campground and surrounding area. I will make a return visit to this campground.

Nice area, host friendly & polite however the outhouses needed to be maintained better.

It was my girlfriend's first time camping and we had a great experience! The camp host was very welcoming and fostered a friendly environment.

Great location overall. We were in Site 10 which was also great. Convenient to facilities and water. Camp host created us and answered our questions. Haven’t done tons of camping so maybe this isn’t a big deal, but the fire pits are great. Nice frames with grids for holding pots, etc.

Good camping without the need for any frills or contact to the outside world!
@ChristopheL871 · Camped on Oct 8, 2021 at Campsite #15
Great campsite! Clean, peaceful, and quiet (of course, depending on your specific site's location!).
@DavidR865 · Camped on Oct 7, 2021 at Campsite #4
Rustic campground. Pit toilets, no wash station or showers, no cell services, no basics like sale of firewood or ice. 20 minute travel one way to services and towns of N. Woodstock and Lincoln. Used to be a quiet campground. With reservations now available to everyone you can’t get a site without a reservation. Liked it better when it was first come, first served only.

We love this campground. Off the beaten path, and fairly small so generally quiet. Nice spacing and a nice grassy day use area across the road where you can access the river and walk your dog. We were in site 2 in a Class B van. Easy to get level. Quite close to the road, so not ideal if you are sensitive to car noise, but generally a relaxing place to stay and much less busy than the eastern side of Lincoln. No cell service. Several "tent only" sites, so make sure you check before booking if you are in a trailer or small RV
@JohnW972 · Camped on Sep 3, 2021 at Campsite #15
Stayed at site 15. Great site for a small trailer … close to water and the toilets.
@DavidC670 · Camped on Aug 27, 2021 at Campsite #10
Beautiful quiet campground remote enough to feel like you’re getting away, yet close enough to amenities that you don’t feel isolated.
@SarahC927 · Camped on Aug 14, 2021 at Campsite #23
Very clean and quite campground. My family and I had the greatest week there. We plan on making this campground our go to place for camping.
@DaytonT192 · Camped on Jul 7, 2021 at Campsite #9
Rustic and relaxing!
@RonaldR122 · Camped on Sep 8, 2020 at Campsite #17
Certainly a quiet camping area, some sites are more private than others, great for tents. Be better if there was a dish cleaning station. Vault toilets were ok
@GaryC724 · Camped on Aug 2, 2020 at Campsite #26
Suspended tree branches have not been dealt with a posed a danger. In rain, ever site downhill of outhouse smells like septic. Tree uprooted next to me during storm. Poor access for camping trailers

great camp group, and not super packed

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
