We stayed for 3 days in the end spot. Im glad we did. A moose and her baby (Cow & Calf) came through camp and stayed for about 30 minutes. We then saw a Bull Moose as well later in the day. Fishing was amazing at Pass Lake.

Loved being close to the stream. However, we wanted some firewood Sunday night and host wasnt to be seen to snag some. Bathrooms clean for the most part. Campsite 20 excellent

The drive up from SLC area went quicker than you'd think thanks to the absolutely gorgeous views, and Sulphur is a really pretty campground that is definitely worth the trip. Shade can be a bit sparse depending on which site you get, but the views and hikes nearby can keep you so busy you don't spend much time there anyway. Several of the spots are even almost right on a river, and have short paths leading right to it and I saw people fishing occasionally. The well maintained vault toilets were centrally placed and the dumpsters in obvious locations. The camp host was friendly, when she checked me in. Saw several people come by multiple times for firewood without being able to get a hold of her though, so that might be an issue. The campground also has multiple pull through sites with plenty of room for those RV camping. There were a ton of pot guts so you did need to watch your step since their holes were everywhere. The bugs got a bit annoying at dusk, but nothing too crazy - a Thermacell and bug spray managed most of them. I have Mint mobile and did not get service at the campground, and had to go about 20 min back towards Kamas for it to kick back in on my way out.

Our family loves Sulpher campground, we were relieved to have a new camp host and area manager that were kind and helpful if needed. #10 has close access to the river and the views are wonderful. It is close to restroom and water. (it was a suggestion to bring water in case it wasn't on.) Plenty of room for tents or a trailer that isn't massiveSeveral areas to hike on various levels and fishing. Wildlife was seen-moose, deer, squirrels and many types of birds.

Beautiful camp groundCamp host not available when needed & over whelmed by too many locations (Storm). Did leave note on their camper they were at different site, could not be found.

The site reserved was not like the photos online. There have been a lot of tree removal. But we loved site 16. There were plenty of mosquitos so be prepared for that. And again, not many trees. The forest service has done a lot of removal.

Site 4 is directly on a well travelled road with lots of traffic noise into the night. I dont remember seeing that this is a double site when I booked it, but thought camping is just incredibly expensive now fail on my part. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and host was very friendly.

Great campground!Host was so so nice and helped us with a car battery issue, even helped us replace it when we went to get one from town.

Beautiful location. Bathrooms were very clean and full of toilet paper and even a trash bag for menstrual products. The camp host was very kind and delightful to chat with. Wildflowers were everywhere even at the end of the season. Camp host has wood $8 a bundle. Bring cash. On our list to return to next summer.

This campground was really nice, the hosts were very friendly and the bathrooms were extremely clean! The only downside about our stay was the rain and mud, so we went home a day early.

Campground Host was the best I've ever experienced. Took great care of the area and introduced himself immediately upon arrival.

Terrific campground! We appreciated how well maintained the campground was. Marv and Jason, the campground hosts, were friendly and informative.

We had a wonderful time camping here. The group site had a lot of seating around the campfire and ample places to eat and was near the bathrooms which were well kept up. The camp hosts were so good to us. We will come again for sure.

This is my favorite campground. Well spaced apart and a beautiful location. It is far enough away from all the other campgrounds that you don’t get much traffic and it feels very secluded.

Nice campground and the hosts are very friendly. I showed up at 1:30 and someone random was eating lunch at my site. Oookay. Did the hike to Bourbon Lake instead. I recommend getting an ODD numbered site (if you can) because the evens had zero shade. I was at site 8 and from 3:30-7:30 I had to sit in the shade of my car because it was otherwise completely in the sun. My across the road neighbors at site 9 had plenty of shade though. As a reminder, even if you have a reservation you still need to buy a mirror lake highway pass— most other National and state parks have that included with a reservation, but not here.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds and our visit in 2022 did not disappoint us. The campground is clean and the pit toilets are some of the cleanest I've ever been around. The camp hosts from Utah Recreation Company are wonderful and do a nice job keep the place orderly and within the rules.

Wonderful campground. Not too crowded and everyone was friendly. The bathrooms were newer and very clean, and the views were amazing. Only problem were the bugs!

Good experience camping at Sulphur Campground! Restrooms were very clean and the campground host was friendly. Rec.gov description of the location of the campground is incorrect however, it is on the east side of highway 150--not the west side!

We plan this trip to be around family, relax and escape the heat of the city. This campground was all we expected and more. What made the difference was its hosts who kept it extremely safe and clean!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
