The campsite was beautiful and secluded and sunset on the lake was stunning. However the bathroom was absolutely covered in bugs, dying roaches on the floor, gnats everywhere, truly one of the worst bathrooms Ive ever been in. Made me feel dirty just walking in. Hopefully just a beginning of the season thing because the site was very pretty, but that bathroom will haunt me.

The lake is pretty and the sites were recently mowed, but there are few amenities. The bathrooms are unusable and there is no water, so pack accordingly.

First night was good, second night was terrible and had to leave before thing got out of control with 20 or so people next to us. Large fire going with burn ban. Park ranger did not enforce. Their German shepherd was not on a leash and ran after my son and our dog which was on a leash. They started getting hostile and didnt want anything to happen to our vehicles at night so decided to leave. No tickets were handed out to them and they taunted us as we were being the better person and packed up. They even danced around their fire singing the f-ing white people are leaving and Mexicans won I will go back only if I rent all of the spots around us. Sad excuse for a person to act that way and no support from the park ranger. The dump station is very very tight. Use this park as a last resort. ScottFeathered Hatchery

We had a phenomenal time at our camp site. Everything was clean and we did not run into any issues. We will be back!

Cracks in the bathroom toilet pedestal allows flying june bugs to come out at night. Not fun!

This campground is a forgotten one and not in a good way. Our power pedestal was falling apart inside and out. It crackled (electricity) when we plugged in and our RV lights flickered. The ranger said it was reading the correct power output and said a work order will be submitted???? The fire ants were really bad. There are only 5 sites with power and water (2/3rds of the park was closed off, not sure why). The dump station was so small we could NOT pull our 5th wheel in (we had to use our turd toater). If your RV is over 30' or so you'll be to long. This campground could be nice and open all week...oh yeah it's only open for the weekends even though there are 2 hosts on site.

The fishing was great and the grandkids had a blast! But the bathrooms and shower facility was totally disgusting- very dirty smelly- like sewer. Haven't been cleaned out in over a year or two. Very unsanitary. Oak Park and Liberty Park are well managed and clean. #16 rv space was nice but the fire pit was damaged beyond use. The fire pits again at the other parks are great! And the pavement where you park the rvs are all busted up and pieces lying all around where ever you step you twist you ankle. Sorry guys but this park needs attention badly!👎

horrible service bathrooms were not cleaned once the entire time we were there. Loud neighbors, drunk all hours of the night. Guest were allowed to have dogs just roam and guest had to be extra careful with their own pets and kids as the dogs just walked up and how are we to know if they are friendly animals. Trash was all over the ground.

We had a great time at Pecan Point! Our campsite was really nice, roomy, peaceful and very close to the water. Beautiful lake front view. Only downer is no dock at boat ramp for boarding onto our boat. Otherwise we had a very nice 3-day weekend. Thank you!

The fire ants were terrible - everywhere. The corp could broadcast some fire ant and Argentina ant bait. We wanted to arrive earlier than Friday but that was impossible because the park is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They need to open the park the full week, especially on weeks with holidays. This park needs some cosmetic work - trees trimmed. We worry there is some drug trafficking going on sometimes. We like this small park because it doesn't have the traffic the other parks on the lake have and it is quiet most of the time.

It would be nice to update the restrooms and showers. Also there are a whole lot of sites that are currently blocked off it would be nice to see these open back up

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
