The park was freshly mowed, potholes patched and the damage from the flooding cleaned up. We had a great visit.

Great hosts, wonderful views, big spots, and good phone/internet service. All around a great park!

This CG is in need of serious maintenance. I booked site 15. When I arrived it had a big sink hole in the parking spot. There were loose dogs and a cat. Roads were terrible. Sites needed mowing. And one guest had to be banded.

The staff at Mott Park is extremely friendly and helpful!!

We ended up not staying here. Seemed like it was kept up well enough, and the gate staff were helpful, but there were lots of people and several dogs running loose (with owners but zero leashes). It did not promise to be a peaceful stay so we went up the road a bit.

We had an amazing time viewing the April 8 2024 eclipse here! Our spots were freshly mowed, roads were paved. There are 4 single occupancy bathrooms, each has a sink, toilet and shower. They were thoroughly cleaned every morning around 6am. The lake access is very good from this spot, it's just a couple minute walk. Each spot has a charcoal grill, fire pit, and covered concrete picnic table. We loved this campground for sure!

The campground needs updating. The roads are extremely narrow and not in the best of shape. Trees need to be trimmed more. There are only 2 public bathroom areas, which may be enough for off season, but which are too far apart and not practical. Perhaps a few porta potties would make more sense to make them more accessible for the many tenters. During our recent visit which was over the total eclipse weekend, that would have been a better solution. We would not choose to stay at this park again.

It was good, but not excellent. The restroom was OK, but with no paper and no saop an dthe shower quite simple. At the place some trees have been cutted, which could give more shadow. The place at the lake was nice, but too many road have been disturbing during night, when people went by car to the restroom

Nice park but the roads need some work.

Driveway into campground is very ruff with lots of holes. Most of the RV sites by water are slopping down hill. Garbage is by the entrance gate so you have to drive there or keep it all at your site. A few too many very late night loud partiers. Could use some upkeep by the RV sites very long grass.

Showed up as I was passing through the area, I reserved ahead of time. Stayed at site 03. The only trailers there looked like homeless people with rvs or maybe extended stays. They looked like they lived there full time. When I showed up nobody seemed to be there to take care of the facilities. The site I reserved had a bunch of trash and empty bottles of bud light that I decided to pick up. I have a feeling if you just show up you can camp without anyone knowing.. the restrooms were cleanish even though all the stalls had no toilet paper except for 1. I would not recommend. I should have been paid to clean the camp site up. Not worth the 22 I spent.

Nice park.Be aware of location of the bathrooms. The dumpsters were only at the entrance, which was difficult for us, as we only had a motorhome with us.Good TV from Dallas, and 4g good on Verizon. There was also WiFi.

Everything was fine. Site was clean and mowed. Beautiful view of the lake. Camp has always been quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Local TV stations are reachable and good phone service. We are looking forward to our next trip.

Mott is a bit of an older camp, but we enjoyed the quiet and had no problem moving around with our 40 motorhome and toad. The site was quite level, with a nice view of the lake. The staff was out doing normal maintenance and the restrooms were well stocked and clean. Water and electric service worked well, we had good ATT coverage, and on our way out, the dump station was well located, and easy to use. Everything you might need in the local area. Defiantly on our list to return.
@CurtH8952DC833 · Camped on Oct 11, 2023 at Campsite #19
The sites and roads are in disrepair and you will need to level at site.
@BrandiA7AE975C · Camped on Oct 7, 2023 at Campsite #GS
This was awful. We were in the group camp area. There was a rowdy drunk group who kept our group up all night partying, bad language, and creating an unsafe environment. We didnt have a camp host ever come to us. We had no way of resolving their lack of ability to follow the posted quiet hours. We called the county sheriff out and the deputy spent 2 minutes onsite and asked them if they were being loud, and they said no. He left and they got louder. The police made us even more unsafe because they got louder. The police also never took any time to come back. It was a horrible experience. This is not a safe park for families.

Pull in sites and most other sites are facing away from lake. Get a view of someone else trailer! Someone didn't think of want smart enough to play it the sites! Probably won't visit this park again.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
