Very clean campground with large, level, camping pads. Love the trees and the views of the lake. Peace and quiet. Wouldnt hesitate to stay there again!!!

Beautiful campground with a pretty swimmable lake. Boat ramp on site. Small shaded trails that'll take you to different areas of the campground. Friendly hosts. Water and electricity worked fine. I chose spot 43 because I thought I would have a water view according to the pics posted with the site. However, this site is a bit strange. Your view is of bushes, and the fire ring along with the table are placed pretty far from where you set up. You do have easy access to the water it's just not your direct view. The shoreline had a lot of trash everywhere, I really wish people would pick up after themselves! The bathrooms are OK. Only 1 shower worked at the one near me. The toilets do not have seat covers, and if someone were to fly a drone near the bathhouse (although very pretty and open) you could probably watch people shower through the windows up top. The gates at this facility close at 10:00 p.m. and there's no way of getting back in if you are out after that. I was told that if I came back after 10, I'd have to leave my vehicle at the front gate and walk to my site. My site is about a mile from the front gate. Not really sure how I feel about this because I feel like there should be some sort of a code for guests that maybe want to go see a show while in town or do something that causes them to stay out a little later than 10 pm. First campground I've come across that doesn't have an access code to come in and out of. All around it's a nice campground.

The gate staff is friendly. The campsites aren't on top of one another, we liked how they were spread out. The bathroom/shower seemed clean enough. There were sites with shade trees and lake access is easy. Probably the only critiques I could make were 1) The men's toilets didn't have any locks on them. and 2) The power went out multiple times the 2nd night we were there. I understand this might not have been a park issue. We'll definitely be back, it's inexpensive, and it's close to home, but feels like you've gotten to go out somewhere.

Site 33 is one of my favorites. Large, waterfront, lots of shade, easy parking.

Nice campground, sites are spacious, level and many are shaded. The bathhouses are clean. Ive never seen better grass mowing in any of the COE campgrounds. They really keep it up and the place looks great.

Stayed at site 41. There's a view of the lake from part of the site and a fire ring and grill on site. The rest is heavily treed. We tent camped and there were just a couple spots on the site to set up a six-person tent. The site was right off the hike/bike trail that leads straight to the bathrooms. The campground doesn't allow day use, so it was quiet in terms of other campers. If you wake up at night, the sound of the highway is pretty obvious, but that was only a small issue to us.

Site 41 was fairly level. Lots of trees. Beware there is only one dump hole at the dump station.

It wouldve been great except the park host near the bathroom accused me of not being allowed in the spot i was parked and I had to walk him to the vehicle and show him the permit. It was kinda scary because I was camping alone and he didnt identify himself. Had I not just got out of the vehicle, he wouldve come and looked inside like a peeping Tom. Also although I love the wild life, feeding them really does them a disservice. This same park host fed them in the evening and morning gathering at least 20 deer and a few ducks.,not to mention the risk of deer ticks being a bigger threat due to the closeness and increased number of them in the area near the bathrooms. The park overall was beautiful. The man at the front office was very polite. The authoritative park host ruined the whole experience.

The place is beautiful with an incredible view, but the neighbors are not very friendly, it is not allowed to play music, something stupid for a picnic, the bathrooms are very dirty and neglected, I would think about two kisses to return.

Beautiful park, sites are clean and spaced nicely apart. Plenty of walking trails that are paved and plenty of walking areas otherwise. Right on the lake so shore fishing or from a boat is both available. Our 2nd stay and will keep it on our go to stops.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
