My husband and I have stayed here several times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The camp hosts are lovely people, and the camp itself has wonderful lake views and is quite peaceful. We love it!

I have been to the campground at East Fork lake in TX 5 times. The camp hosts are good people. They have always helpful to answer any issues I have had. Always helpful when I arrive to pick a spot right for me. I like that you can just walk to lake to fish on shore or put your boat in water.

I spent ten days on the grounds. The restrooms were clean and someone stopped by everyday to check them. Dumpsters were easily available. The hosts were gracious and willing to answer questions or offer resources if they didnt have the answer. There was even an on-site RV tech (Happy Camper Mobile RV Repair, Inc.). He travels and this is one of his stops.

FANTASTIC Campground! We stayed for two weeks and had great views of Lake Lavon. Our site (27) was pretty level and had plenty of room. The dump station is convenient but not too close to smell. Dumpsters and bathrooms are easily accessible, and the campground is right in the DFW metroplex, so you have easy access to EVERYTHING! There's a Wal-Mart super-center literally just outside the gate!

We stay here everytime we camp! The people are amazing and so friendly! We absolutely love staying at East Fork! We were born and raised in Wylie, camped here as kids and now we bring our kids to camp here! We actually went to use the showers for the first time and honestly, they were cleaner than any camping grounds we have ever been to!

Nice park but badly needs an overhaul. The bathrooms were disgusting and not cleaned the entire week we were there. I understand it's off-season but that's unacceptable. Hosts were very friendly. Campsite was nice enough, did hold some water after the weather.

Arrived after a rainstorm and site entrance was flooded. Need to add additional gravel so one can walk to the road without needing hip waders.

Close to Dallas. Quiet, Spacious sites. Modern, clean private restrooms.

Well-maintained campground. Great camp hosts and volunteers. Close to shopping. Excellent AT&T service.

The hosts were great.... friendly and clearly on top of everything in the park. Everything was maintained well, and although I didn't use them I liked that the bathhouse was individual gender-neutral rooms with private combo toilet, sink and shower.

We stay here when we visit our family in Wylie. The sites are spaced great, not too close to each other. We like that it's only about 10 minutes from our family, easy access to groceries/town/activities. Beware of the terrible roads leading there. Go SLOW!! The park is quiet. The attendants are helpful.

I have previously reported how difficult it is to open and close the rusty brown water gadgetThe guy with the volunteer shirt on a tractor spent 3 hours mowing the lawn while we were trying to nap in the afternoon
@SeanF65037B8B3 · Camped on Oct 25, 2024 at Campsite #T6
Not well kept up. Grass not mowed, dirt and debris left over in the gazebo from work done to add the water spigot. Although there was a fire ban, you still could not have used the grill since it was all rusted out. The bathroom in the tent area was closed, so you had to drive or walk to the other one which was across the park. I will pick a different park to camp at next time.
@RebeccaP599017 · Camped on Oct 21, 2024 at Campsite #45
expected some more green areas, park was a little "bare". was nice and quiet after weekend visitors left. all in all, good experience, will visit again.

This camp site is not well maintained, and it is reasonably average sight from all of my travels.

It was ok, and convenient enough for a quick visit. Unfortunately theres trash . EVERYWHERE. Beer bottles over here, cans over there, bags in bushes. If they cleaned up the trash, Id have a better review.

Nice park with a great staff. We enjoy our stays there and it's proximity to our doctors. It is close to everything, yet not noisy. Some sites overlook the lake. Plenty of room between sites.
@CurtJF6BA32698 · Camped on Oct 6, 2024 at Campsite #23
Hosts fantastic; sites are spread out--been there several times--the one thing I'd suggest is the grass( a lot of it), needs to be cut it seems every time I come. It's not unbearable, but it would look so much better if it was. Overall, i STILL like it!
@RALPHB2918180 · Camped on Oct 4, 2024 at Campsite #43
We stayed in Site 43 and had a beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of space between sites. Darrell, the camp host, was an amazing man. However, the grass had not been cut in a while. (You know its bad when camp hosts wife is outside their camper cutting the grass with a manual mower.) others told us later they carry their weedeater when camping there. But the biggest negative was the site across from us with 5-6 tents, multiple cars/trucks, and many people who played music late into the night.

The Camping Area was a nice and quiet place to spend a week. Easy access to the water for swimming at one end of the campground. They even had loaner life vest for children if you forgot yours. The grounds are well kept and spacing between sites is good. If you have a boat there are two ramps for launching. you will just have to pull the boat out each day since there is not a docking area or beach area to leave it at during the night.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
