Long Branch Campground, Lancaster, TN

Long Branch Campground in Smith county is located 30 min west of Cookeville, TN with an elevation of 511 feet. There are a total of 58 campsites including 57 boat sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the beginning of November. 57 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 156 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 57 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $30.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, laundry facility, playground, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

I have a lifetime pass which allows me to stay at half price. Upon arrival, I was asked to show my card. I had left it at home. The attendant charged my card the additional half in order to allow entry. The necessity to show the card is buried in the website. I have been disappointed by the reservation website repeatedly.

Staff is friendly and facilities are clean and well maintained. Only minus was humans not managing yappy dogs. River was difficult to fish because of low flows and cloudy water, but that is temporary. Another good COE experience!

It is a nice campground, very quiet. It was nice to see that the washer and dryer even if outside were kept clean. Plus free to use. We had a nice view of the water. This was the first time we can remember having a site that is set up to pull forward into, needless to say it would not work as well for a TT because the hookup would be on the wrong side. The camphosts were friendly and helpful. No over the air antenna channel reception

Amazing campground very well maintained the only things is would change is update the the back bathhouse and repair the repeater tower in the rear so the whole campground has wifi other then that its perfect and amazing volunteers .

Clean rest rooms, friendly camp workers. Site was clean and well maintained. Its a little creepy that the campground is at the base of the dam.

Long Branch is consistently good. The grounds are always kept clean and mowed. The restrooms are always clean. Hosts are always friendly and kind. The only thing I would like to see improved is the Wi-Fi. You have to walk to the front of the campground to pick it up. But that wont stop me from going there!!

We have been coming to this campground for nearly 27 years and were sorely disappointed on our last trip there. I feel that the camp hosts are extremely rude with uncalled-for behavior and the grounds are not kept up well at all. It's a shame but with all of our choices nowadays, I don't think we will be back.

Long Branch is one of those places you wouldn't mind coming back to. It isn't new and shiny but it is clean and well maintained. The washer/dryer is free! The only real downside is the tiny gravel in the parking sites; it gets in your camper no matter what. The other campers were very friendly. It was nice being so close to the river.

Campground was clean and well maintained. The bath houses could use updates and include ventilation, especially during the summertime when its hot. When the showers are being used, it made the bathhouse unbearably muggy and stuffy. Sites are mostly level and in good condition. Water was iron water so use a filter. The location by the caney river was nice. Easy access to paddle, swim or fish. Center hill lake is also very close.

We love long branch. Camp there several times a year. It's always a little cooler there because of the cold water in the caney.

Campsites were large and shades. Peaceful and quiet. Nice view of the dam.

Sites #38 & #1 are both level and have shade. Campground and bathhouses are very clean. Verizon is spotty. Beautiful setting on the Camry Fork River.

Long Branch is an excellent campground for kayakers and fishermen. Camp host is polite. Most of sites in campground are flat and easily accessible. Bath houses are clean. Some sites have old wooden picnic tables that need to be replaced.

Hello, We really love long branch campground it clean and you have a outstanding group of people running it. The only downfall that i see for my part is the wifi is not near stong enough to reach out to the full length of the campground. We live in a place where there has been a lot of crime, we have cameras all over the place they are hooked to my cell phone but in order to look at the cameras means you need to go up next to the office before you get signal enough to watch them. Where as if you can catch them in the act you stand a better chance of catching them. Wifi is our only complaint. Have a good day
