Absolutely SHAMEFUL! You provide no supervision or enforcement of the rules. There were parties with loud music, sing alongs, screeching children and people riding around the campground in ATVs until 3am both Friday and Saturday nights. They had illegal campfires and were shooting off fireworks and no one was there to stop the insanity. We left 2 days early because we had an awful experience! Your should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to be the case in our public lands. I WILL NEVER camp in a USFS facility again after this. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!

We stayed in spot 29. Has great access to beach and boat ramp. Has a few good spots for tents. You’ll wake up to the sunrise and might want to plan that in as far as placement of tent to avoid the early morning sun. We had my Tacoma and was enough room for it to park, not much bigger vehicle would fit in parking spot. We had a great time and the lake is magical!

Nice campground. Not too many sites. Sits on top of a hill so bears are less likely to make it up there. Quick access to a small sandy beach. Nice and quiet!

Has water and bathrooms. No showers. Most of the campsites are walking distance to pancake beach and boat ramp. Shallow/ mostly sandy beach for kids to play. 5 min drive to local store

This is a nice little campground, my only negative comment would be… I really think the bathrooms could be cleaner. I’ve done a lot of camping in my almost 60 years and I’ve seen worst bathrooms. These just need a little bit of extra attention. Other then that we really enjoyed ourselves. The beach is so close! And there is a dump station for your trailer or RV, plus freshwater.

Probably won’t come back to this place because it is too exposed to both sun and wind…fought wind in getting my tent up, had little protection from sun

Very nice campground that wasn’t super crowded even on an August weekend. Bathrooms had toilet paper and were relatively clean. Very nice to have running water and flush toilets. Tent sites were large and well maintained- nicely cleared with a thick layer of mulch. Easy walk to the boat ramp or day use area from most of the sites, although parking at both got very busy during the day.

Campsite was spacious. It had a fire ring plus a grill for bbq. We even found a trail down to the water. Easy enough walk to beach and swim access, however we drove and parked in day use so we could set up our ez-up and pack lunches. Beautiful reservoir. Nice roped off swim areas.

Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was that the potable water was out of order, and I didn't know beforehand. But the local town had water for sale and a hose outside, they were super nice. The lake is beautiful, 5 stars for the lake for sure. Site 18 was great, very spacious. I liked the looks of site 17 so will try to get that site next time. This campground had no bear lockers, but we never saw nor heard bears ever. Working toilets with running water, lots of space, so nice and relaxing!

campsite (24 and 23) were in full sun most of the day not fun when you are tent camping and the campsite next to you is an RV that is blasting its generator to run the A/C in the afternoon. either you make it only tent camping or you have more shade. water was amazing and the campsite is walking distance tot he beach, but otherwise I would not have liked the campground.

The day use area of the campground was packed on the day we arrived (Sunday after July 4th) but was cleared out by nightfall. We were left with 2-3 occupied campsites out of the entire campground for the rest of our mid-week trip. It's a short walk down to the lake -- one side is sandy with a swimming area (no motor boats) and the other side was rocky with a dock & boat ramp. It's a 10-min drive to the general store in La Porte for ice, firewood, and some basic camping supplies. One review mentioned bears - confirmed. US Forest Service said they hope to install bear boxes in the fall (they were delayed due to COVID). In the meantime, use bear resistant containers and/or store in the trunk of your car. We visited Little Beaver campground, and it was much larger with more people. We preferred the more isolated Wyandotte.

Porta pottys instead of vaults and faucets were there but did not work. Otherwise nice campground close to lake.

Had always camped @ little beaver and loved it, but for some reason we decided to try Wyandotte.....bad idea! Campsites are really far from water and not flat. We ended up moving to little beaver and were very sorry we hadn’t booked little beaver in the first place like we had for years. Lesson learned.

Great campground, nice lake, not a lot of people there, and a great price!

Nice small Campground, we reserve most of one loop for our Church family camp. Some of the sites are rather short for trailers. The restrooms need to be restored or remodeled, and the pavement hasn't seen any repair in years. It's a wonderful campground , in need of a little love.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
