Stated I could have 2 vehicles but nowhere to park second vehicle at campsite, but could unhook boat in grass by campsite and then park vehicle several campsites away if there was room or at entrance to camp grounds. I would find somewhere else unless last resort.

Lovely campground! We booked this spot the day before we arrived. We were able to score a site right on the lake. Beautiful views, level site, wide and peaceful. My only complaint would be the amount of goose poo that was on the site but its nature so we just brushed it aside and moved on.

Quiet and peaceful. Thankfully you had a water hydrant as my husband didn't realize we needed to bring our water.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. Love the view of the lake and the geese. I cant comment on the pit toilet since I never used it.

Love this place but wondering since when tents are allowed on the electrical sites we stayed in 18 and 20 and the site 22 right beside us was a tent and a pickup for 3 days and then we had rude campers thinking they can park wherever whenever they want making it impossible to come and go. Some of the campers were talked to but the very rude campers across from us thought the rules did not apply to them as they would go right back to their ways after park ranger left. It is so hard to book sites sometimes but now us campers have to compete against tent bookings

Nice campground. The weather and fish did cooperate but all else was great.

One of our favorite locations and campground during our 34 day cross country trip. Not many dining options available in the area, so be prepared.

Weeds growing around lot about 10" to 12" tall. Some were thistles and kids and adults could not walk in it due to getting poked. At best they could keep it mowed and sprayed. Not sure way they can't keep this camp ground out as beautiful place if not for the poor upkeep.

Nice campground. Our spot was close to outdoor bathrooms so there was some odor that drifted over.

Great site,only problem was the stinky weeds.

Everything was fine except the bathrooms were so filthy. They need to clean them at least 3times a week instead of once a week. Some lady camping there went up and cleaned them. There was shit on the inside of the toilet lid. I refused to use those bathrooms. So please have someone clean them regularly. Thank you

the restrooms needed to be cleaned, lots of weeds in the area

The bathrooms were very dirty. Major cleaning and maintenance is needed badly.

Normally this campground rates five stars from us. We have stayed there before. But this time the cleanliness of the bathrooms were well below what I would expect from an Army Corp campground. The floors were dirty in one, wet in the other. One looked like feces on the floor and bird poop at the entry door. They looked like they had not been cleaned in a while. Neither had the usual check list as to when it was last cleaned in them. The rest of the campground is five stars - but on this particular trip - the bathrooms dropped it to three.

We had site 30, It was an excellent site, right along the water, The site was easy to back into, very spacious. The only downside was there was no hose attached to the water hydrant to fill our freshwater tank this year. there has been in past years. I will book another stay again this year.

We enjoyed this campground. We would like to see sewer hook-ups as well. This would make it so much more convenient. More trees planted would also help shade in the heat of the summer. Toilets on both ends of the campground would also be great.

Love the location. Very clean

Fire ring was dirty with cigarette butts and general trash; site was unlevel and lots of thistle weeds to prick you or your pet’s feet but the view was beautiful and a general peaceful park.

The campground overall was ok. The spaces were large enough, the grass in the sites was cut, and the water was VERY cold and refreshing out of the spickets. If you are looking to come fish or take your boat out on the lake, this place is awesome! Unfortunately, the grass on the outskirts of the camping area was left to grow, which caused a plethora of insects. There were tons of ticks as well, so you are pulling ticks off throughout the day. We understand that we were in nature, so we have no problem accepting the insects. Just wanted others to know as well. Finally, the toilet...we realize that most at the site we stayed at had their rv's, and as such their own toilets. We on the other hand did not, so we needed to use the pit toilet. Without exaggeration, we have used old outhouses and bathrooms in third world countries which were cleaner. The floor was nasty, there appeared to be feces smeared on one of the walls, the hand sanitizer station was empty AND broken, and for the week we were there, it wasn't cleaned once. Again, we understand that we are camping, but an entire week without cleaning? That is just unacceptable.

Our site was nice & open. Most of the sites are completely closed in with brush & are very buggy! What is the criteria for the handicap sites? I could use one & most of the time they are not available even though there are open sites. The handicap sites should be the very last ones rented oin case someone actually needs one!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
