We absolutely loved our stay. We had such a relaxing time together before the back to school rush.

The campsites were nice but the bath house was not clean, especially the showers. Did not see a host at all, I expect to see the host at least once a day to ride through and check on things I stayed in the campground the entire time and not once did the host make an appearance.

The campground and bathhouse is clean and well maintained and the host was very nice and helpful. The roads and pads throughout the campground appear newly paved and are in great shape, though be aware some of the sites do have a bit of an incline. There was plenty of room at the site for our RV as well as an additional vehicle. The roads to access the campground were a bit more "adventurous" graded washboard gravel with several (sometimes large) potholes along the way.

Nice clean sites and bathrooms. The host was very active, attentive, and friendly. Loved the paved sites! Water hook-ups at each site would be nice. Wish y'all had a beach area where there was swimming in the lake!

We didn't go due to rain. We didn't want to year up the trails. We like regular maintenance on the trails . But not flatten out either. But we appreciate all the hard work to maintain the trails. Arrowhead camping would have been our first. We always go to Baden lake or Holly Bluff. But the rain got us. I know no refund when I book with yall so that's why I don't book much. Thanks for all the hard work.

Campground is definitely off the beaten path. Sites have lots of shade! We were in site 38 (electric only). The only downside is the road in which needs a little better maintenance. The drive in is paved.. then gravel for about a mile (lots of potholes) and then the campground is paved. Was a little challenging in a 34 class A pulling a car.
@Francisco1FB07 · Camped on Apr 18, 2024 at Campsite #49
The camp host that was there 04/18/2024 seemed a little rude when all I asked them was where my site was. Other than that the site itself was ok! Site 49 is at the bottom and you cannot park right beside it and have to carry your stuff about 30-40 yards from the parking lot so not too bad but I wish that was stated in the info about it. The other sites are literally a light stone's throw away from site 49 so a little awkward but the other people who were at those sites seemed nice so thats just a luck of the draw/ wish they told you about that. Overall it was a great experience but just wished they had given you a heads up about the distance from parking lot and how close the other sites are from each other in that cluster of 4.

The campground host, Don, was very friendly. The campground was well kept. We really enjoyed our stay!

Unfortunately when I showed up, I had no cell service. The issue I had was not knowing where to find potable water. The spigot I found when pulling in had a sign saying not to hook a hose to fill containers. The other was not being able to pull up a map to locate our site. Had I prepared more, I may have researched it better and known where I was going. A sign pointing towards the potable water near the dump station would have been helpful. I didnt realize that there was no check in area.

Nice spot nestled in trees, with some privacy.

We stayed at site 45 and it was great. Don, the site host, was fantastic and communicative. The bathroom facilities were clean and well-stocked.

Close to the lake and nicely wooded sites. Several sites were not that level and the approach road was a little challenging. The bathrooms were clean and a nice shower space. Camp host was excellent.
@AndyJ9037962 · Camped on Mar 29, 2024 at Campsite #28
Although it is a tighter campground with some smaller sits, I had good neighbors and the weather was amazing. I love all the trails! Note that many of the sites are sloped so be prepared with your leveling blocks.

Camp host was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and showers had hot water. Great Hiking trails and beautiful lake views!
@LauraW5748533 · Camped on Mar 29, 2024 at Campsite #32
Walk to water spigot was 75 feet either direction. Only 1 bathroom/shower building for whole camp. Most sites are for motorhomes. More tent sites or separate tent loop would be nice. Camp host was very friendly and helpful.
@DavidS3927304 · Camped on Mar 11, 2024 at Campsite #12
They were working on the potholes so maybe they are gone by now. Campground was good, as always.

Prohibition rules at Arrowhead. No alcohol POSSESSION in the campground. There are signs everywhere. They treaten you with large fines (5000?) and jail time! If you are travelling from one campground to another, you have to dump out all alcohol before entering the campground. For those that are on extended trips or "full time RV", that can get expensive. I felt that campground hosts were sniffing around looking for violators. They seem to find reasons to visit your campsite.There are also unleashed dogs. Rules not enforced there. I also saw the campground host who has a utility trailer and what sounded like a very mean dog inside the camper. Anyone needing anything might want to use the other campground host at 22? I think.They also have a sign stating that they lock the gate at 10PM. If you have a late arrival, or are out past 10 for any reason, (were to dinner, get a flat tire ect) I guess your out of luck??!!I asked a host about it and he said they don't lock the gate BUT they have locked it on occassion and a new ranger might start enforing the rules. Who knows...Bathrooms are in poor condition.

It was quiet and peaceful, no neighbors made for a great weekend. The site was great with a decent view. Showers and restroom was nearby. Trails were taken care of.

Well kept, easy to find, go to Pier at Lake Vadin and enjoy a walk. Water near each campsite, showers and restrooms at cg.

Arrowhead campground is in excellent condition with beautiful views and great walking trails. The camp host for the electrical sites was very helpful and happily answered all our questions about the campground and the area. The dump station at Arrowhead was under repair and not available, but our camp host directed us to another campground nearby where we had access.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
