Wash Creek Horse Camp is located in the Pisgah Ranger District of the National Forests in North Carolina (40 min southwest of Asheville, NC) with an elevation of 2,455 feet. The site is open all year. There is a fee of $40.00 per night.

The space was so verdant and beautiful. We spent the day riding and hiking in the woods and swimming and splashing in the creek. It was the perfect space.

Great primitive site for small groups. Did have someone wander into our camp at 10 pm wanting to “hang out”. Could have been a bad situation but he moved along after a bit. This is a remote area with more late night activity than you would expect.
