We are locals and this is the perfect staycation! Staff is great! Facilities are clean and although you are 20 minutes from a Taco Bell you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. Peaceful and beautiful. Dog friendly is a plus for us too!

Had a wonderful weekend stay at site 73. The good: the battery pack was at 80% when we got there. running fans, lights, charging phones and battery packs...was still at 48% after 2 days. Bed was very comfy. One top sheet and thin comforter and an extra blanket if needed, perfect for July. Rained heavily one day, but we stayed dry. Campfire ring was located away from entrance to tent, but pay really close attention to the site you pick for that. Some rings were right at the front porch and I imagine would be smokey in the tent. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was super friendly. The bad: The restroom is in dire need of update. Only one sink. No electrical outlets at all. The shower was good but very hot and not adjustable! Firewood is expensive! $10 for a small bundle. Watch out for spiders. Of course this is not a sealed tent (gaps in the platform floor). There could be creepy crawlies! The cot was not comfortable. No linens for it. No wifi available and one bar of cell service at our site intermittently.

Stayed in the glamping tents - Great concept and overall the tent and bed were very nice. They provided all linens, towels and pillows and they were comfortable. However it was June and the tent was so hot! And the two fans supplied were mere desk top fans. Not near enough to cool the tent. We had our own box fan but the electricity provided in the tent was a battery which was not enough to power anything other than the devices provided (2 tiny fans - 2 LED lights). Concept would be a home run if they would run electricity to the tents. We were also very close to the bath house but the cleanliness of the bath house could not be described as glamping.

Beautiful!! Very peaceful and family friendly, We glamped, so they had a really nice tent already set up for us, My two teens and I slept comfortably on the double bed and cot provided My only complaint is the access to the firewood, We checked in on a Friday, so we left home after work and school and arrived shortly after the gate ranger left They ask you to not bring any wood and only buy from them, so we were left with no wood that night and cold cut sandwiches.. But overall great place !!

We had one of the "glamping" sites. While it was a small site we were very comfortable. I was able to park our small van and one other car. The tent was sweet! The fact that they put a power source, a Goal Zero Battery in the tent was a really nice touch. This powers provided lights and allowed us to charge phones, etc. I would recommend an additional blanket if early season. We were there in Mid May - the nights get a bit chilly so having an extra blanket was nice. But in the summer the provided bedding would be perfect. We stayed for 2 nights. I would definitely stay here again!

Second year coming to glamping tents and those are really nice IMO as long as you bring extra covers for warmth. Bathrooms need to be uodated to regular shower heads and should be without having to keep pushing for a hot shower. Showers barely worked and mens room had a heat lamp but women's bathroom had a closed switch as in removed so female bathroom near site 73 did not work. It was 38 so that would have been a great glamping experience. It was also the second time we had to listen to shooting and dogs barking late into the night. This time we asked about all the commotion to find out hunters with tons of hound dogs and yelling like banshees were inside the camp hunting raccoon guns going off where campers camp. Very dangerous. I understand one time but both times? Hunting is allowed in certain areas so that just isnt something we likes to listen to. Personally I feel for the price bathrooms could have been in better condition and more private. I did find a bathroom in a different area that was more private with a heat lamp next morning. But the shower head drizzled. The staff seemed very friendly though. Unsure if I will ever come back there to be honest. They had warm to warm hot water. Other than that it is in a forest and fall was nice. My advice is to have better control of hunters coming in willy nilly illegally (and sounded drunk as all) to keep campers safe. Stray bullets dogs and middle of the night didnt give me the best feeling.

Campsites were nice, facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside was a yellow jacket infestation, at or near, my campsite. They didn't bother me but would be a concern should small children be present. The staff was made aware of the situation.

My 11 year old son, my husky 🐾and I Glamped for 3 days. We explored, built fires, cooked on the grill. It rained off and on the whole time, which was surprising very calming and enjoyable. The staff is great too.

The glamping yurts are very well maintained. It was a pleasure staying at this facility. We enjoyed many local outdoors activities in close proximity to the campsite including several activities within the park including swimming at the beach on the reservoir, hiking, and nightly campfires. Will definitely return!

Beautiful, secluded campground. The glamping sites really are as nice as pictured, and the tent was larger than I expected! Bath house we were closest to is smaller, no big vanity mirror or somewhere to plug in a hair dryer, etc, but the comfort of the tent was unbeatable! We will be returning!

We were glamping in the yurt when post-tropical depression rain came through from Hurricane Nicole and we felt comfy and cozy through the downpours. It would be better if the yurts had the lower structural member cut back to even with the vertical post as it e tends out and is easily banged into with your head when walking around yurt.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
