We absolutely love the group sites here at Pine Point. We always enjoy our stay there. However, we have noticed that one restroom for a site that holds 36 people is a bit on the small side. Another stall would make this campsite perfect!

Kathty was an excellent camp host who greeted us with a friendly smile while informing us of all the rules and issues of the campground.

Loved it..someone did a fabulous job of rehabilitating that campsite. It had everything the other camps had.. sandy beaches clean vault toilets n water. We hiked the entire lake plus little crater lake 14.7 miles .. A true walk in the woods

We love Timothy Lake and Pine Point has been one of our favorite campgrounds over the years. Our biggest concern, which is no fault of the campground itself, was many of the other campers' lack of respect for the extreme fire danger warning. We had received multiple notifications by email and also on the website since July (we were there in mid-August) about the fire danger in Mt. Hood National Forest, and that campfires were not allowed. There were signs as we drove there, as well as at the campground itself, and the host, so there was no ambiguity about it, yet as we walked around the campground in the evening we noticed quite a few people ignoring that rule and choosing to have campfires anyway, which is was disappointing to see. When we walked around on the trail near the amphitheater (by the day use area, I believe) we noticed a bunch of educational signs which were not very visible. Maybe these should be moved to more visible locations and/or added to. Not sure if that would help at all, though.

My only real complaint is the heavy use of generators in the camp ground. The fumes just settle into the campground and the generators didn't seem to follow the quiet hours rules. The camp hosts are great the lake is perfect, accessibility for my older father was great to get him in the woods for a bit.

Fantastic! We had such a great stay. The site was clean and clear for us, and it was a great spot. The facilities were very clean, the nicest forest bathrooms I’ve ever been in! The camps hosts were super friendly. Highly recommended.

The campground is well kept with clean facilities. The staff is personable, helpful and visible. Campsites are large and when we arrived raked and ready for us. East lake access makes this a great camping option. We’ll go back as often as we can.

Been camping with family at Timothy Lake for several years now and as always it was a good experience. The camp host was very nice, the camp site was very clean on arrival and the restrooms were always clean. The only drawback this year was most of the time we were there this year was the weather it rained off and on the first two days we were there.

Beautiful, serene setting. Other campers were courteous about privacy and keeping noise down so that nature and the area were the focal point. Excellent campground staff, very friendly and helpful.

We travel all over to various campgrounds, across Oregon. Timothy is one of our top 3 favs. Great fishing, plenty of room to fish and is beautiful.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
