Camp host were constantly cleaning bathrooms and campgrounds. Site 36 had plenty of parking for my truck and boat trailer. Close to the bathroom and just 30 ft tool the lake. Super fun camping experience.

The camp hosts were amazing! The grounds were immaculate, cleanest restrooms Ive ever seen. We booked online without actually seeing the spots and picked 40. It ended up being very small, and at that point all the good spots were taken. Spots 38,39, and 40 are too small and close together. The hosts were very accommodating.

The camp hosts this year were amazing. They were so friendly, accommodating, and really kept the entire campground clean. Bathrooms were always clean, and the minute someone checked out, they were there making sure the campsite was ready for the next group coming in. Campground is always amazing, especially those sites along the water.

Lovely campsite, good for a large group and right on the lake. I would have given this campground a higher rating but my neighbors were up drunkenly talking extremely loudly until 7am. Really wish the camp host wouldve done something.

Views were awesome and its nice theres a limit on when people can run their generators. The lake is so big it felt like we had it all to ourselves.

Campsite was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were both clean and always stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Definitely would recommend this and will come again! Camp hosts were so helpful and friendly.

Quiet, tidy, beautiful. What else could you want?

You get a tiny view of the lake from site 18, but the trade-off is being a little removed from the noise and comings and goings of the direct-access, lakeside sites. The parking pad itself is not very long, however we managed to fit a truck with camper and one extra vehicle with no trouble. The camp hosts were always around and seemed attentive. I did not need to use the toilets, but they looked clean. I did end up leaving halfway through the 4 night stay because of wildfire smoke and let the camp hosts know so they could release the site to another camper. By the time I got home a refund for one night's stay was already processed. I didn't expect any refund, so that was nice. I also got to see the fire-fighting planes dipping the lake for water, which, although not the best, was sorta cool to witness.

Awesome camp hosts! We stayed on the side with Jim and Lynn. There was a situation where some campers decided to despite the fire ban start a fire in the fire ring. Jim was quick to respond and acted in a professional matter to put out the fire and also educate the campers of the dangers. These two as a duo are the type of hosts every campground needs. I'll also note these two along with the other camp hosts did their best to keep bathrooms clean!

A+++++ campground. Timothy lake is great for paddle boarding and kayaks. Love this site especially--- It's large, and on the lake.

We had an amazing time. Great hosts on this campground. They clean restrooms very often that everything is super clean. One thing that frustrated us. There are unattended chairs and canopies along the lake shore. There are many people who just want to see the sunset and stop by for a quick swim throughout the day. The shore is covered with left chairs and canopies which feels like we are on someones territory though we are not as there are no campsites that close to the water. Many campers complain. It is rude. It is like people reserve the right to use particular piece of shore for the length of their stay. Once you are done sitting by the lake, please take your chair with you, so someone else can enjoy the view. It would be great to put signs in addition to notifications to all the visitors not to do this. Thank you!

Im newish to camping and this was a great overall experience from registration to the email reminder to arriving at the site and seeing a placard with my name on it at my site. This campsite is right along Timothy lake and as the name suggests has incredible views of mount hood. There are around 40 sites and enough bathrooms/water stations sprinkled around so that there was never any wait. The camp hosts were so friendly and did a great job of keeping the toilets clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you can book early enough to get a site along the water, do it because in addition to the beautiful view, youll avoid the sound of passing vehicles at the other end of the campground.

Camp hosts were outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. In nearly 40 years of camping at Hoodview campground, the daily upkeep of the restrooms was amazing this year.

Our group of 6 (3 adults, 3 11-year-olds) had the best time at Hoodview. The camp hosts were welcoming, and the facilities were in excellent condition. Gorgeous views of Mt. Hood over Timothy Lake. We enjoyed SUPs and swimming when the wind died down.

This was our third year at Hoodview and as always we were not disappointed. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant to chat with. Being the very end of the season these folks were on top of it. Bathrooms were in great shape and stayed that way the whole time. We look forward to next year!

This is one of our favorite camp grounds. Over the years theyve made consistent investments that make this park more clean, user friendly and worth the value of time and money. Also, Pauline (camp host) on our latest visit was incredible. She was friendly, informative and efficient in her operations of cleaning, check-in out, etc. She even found my children later to give them junior ranger kits and made their day! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot. Host was definitely a bit crusty so that was too bad. Youd think theyd have a better sense of hospitality. Overall though the campground is clean, theres great views, and wasnt too busy.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
