It was nice and quiet. Friendly and helpful camp host. Beautiful campground.

Love the campsites at this park! All are spacious and many are very private. Those on upper loop will have more noise from road. Upper loop has bathrooms with flush toilets but they could be more well maintained.

Such a beautiful campground amongst the tall pines and relaxing sound of the river. We appreciated the flat easy parking for our camper van and the picnic tables provided.

Ive always like Silver Springs Camp Ground. Been camping here for almost 20 years. This year a large tree was cut down and it took away about a 3rd of our camp space. The first night of camping my 2000 watt generator was stolen. The burn ban wasnt fun but after Wednesday we could finally have fires. Camp Hosts were great.All in all, in the end, it was a pretty good week of camping. We will do it again next year.

We love this campground! Being right next to the river is amazing. We have camped here multiple times. We recently camped in site 9 (double site) It was an amazing campsite but you do get a lot of constant whiffs of the vault toilet stink. Its right across from the site.

Great campground. Large private sites. Very clean. Close to Mt Rainier, easy drive in.

Our campsite was very big. It had a creek next to it for my young niece and nephew to play it., room for three tents. Hard to tell from website how big and where the sites are. No interaction with camp host.

Great spot to camp. Did a night photo shoot at Sunrise, and an excellent spot to return to and sleep after a 2:00 AM return.

If you have a camper van or RV this site is barely ok. With a tent it is a joke.
@JeanS8901472 · Camped on Jul 28, 2024 at Campsite #12
Appreciate the quietness of the park/other campers and the large spaces.

Great location for Mt Rainier - especially Sunrise. Lots of trees so Starlink did not work. You are definitely unplugged as no cell service either, but we took this as a positive. Close to White River. Lots of creeks running through park. Restrooms were clean. Hosts Michael and wife were great. They really worked to keep things clean and help campers. There is a bit of road noise, but the road is not busy and the closer to River (and further from road) it is irrelevant. It was a great base for seeing Mt Rainier. Quiet, clean and safe.

Very nice campground, the bathroom by our site had a sink, toilet and urinal out of order.
@LeslieD8467471 · Camped on Jul 19, 2024 at Campsite #42
Lovely camp! Creek access is a huge bonus, our experience was quiet and comfortable. The sites by the creek are spacious and have good privacy.

Great spot with easy access to the NE side of Mt. Rainier and Sunrise.

Love this camping spot! Site is well maintained and camp host very friendly. Easy walk to river and hiking trail.

Such a beautiful camp ground. Spacious sites, lots of shade, and clean facilities.

Could barely hear the road, only if a large car drove by fast. Great location close to Sunrise area of Rainier. Campfire pit/grill was half sunken into ground. Restrooms behind the campsite were pit toilets. Flush toilets about the same distance walk, but the men's urinal was cracked (still in use), only one stall, and the sinks had hot water but no temperature control.
@NancyC3864592 · Camped on Jun 30, 2024 at Campsite #46
Location to Rainer was great. Campsites were well kept but it is close to the highway so be prepared for traffic noise unless you find an east most site closer to the river. The trees and moss were beautiful as was the White River. The bathrooms were in varying states of disrepair- broken urinal, nonfunctional sink, and a general feel of being unclean. In fairness, it is a busy site to maintain common facilities, but maybe more than one host is needed to keep up

A wonderful campground right on the White River, which you can walk along for a bit. It also has a wooded area with springs, bridges and paths. Not huge but lovely. The campsites are large and comfortable and there are plenty of basic bathrooms. The only weakness is that a number of the campsites are within easy hearing distance of the road, and some can see the road through the trees. A number of the sites, however, are away from the road and near the river so you can hear water noises. If you look at the campground map, you can see which to try to get. If the map is not on Recreation.gov, you can find it with your browser.

Clean and spacious campground along the White River near Crystal Mountain with small creeks and little bridges within it. Site #35 was huge, backed up to a trail, and seemed private since there was lots of vegetation between campsites. Nice to have two restrooms with sinks and flushing toilets in the campground but only one was operational in June.

It was a quiet campground and very close to the river and a couple nice hikes . The bathroom was very well maintained and their is plenty of firewood available to purchase .
@TeraysaMEF4082 · Camped on May 17, 2024 at Campsite #48
It was a good campsite, biggest issue was the closest men's room had to be closed so I had to take my children farther away to use the restroom.
@JAMESS8693241 · Camped on May 17, 2024 at Campsite #35
I would've loved to give this campground 5 stars, but the lack of running spigots, and working bathrooms on the lower loop makes this a low tier 4 star, almost 3. There were two flush bathrooms (each with men/ women's side). The men's bathroom on the lower loop was out off service, making the only bathroom on that loop a vault toilet with no sinks. The spigots not working on the lower loop was by far the worst part of it. I had to walk back and fourth several times just to wash and rinse dishes. As the only Spigot in working order was by site #50 on the lower loop. The sites themselves are nice and well maintained, some of them are pretty spacious with lots of privacy. Lots of streams, and the White River is near by, it's a lovey place if you like the white noise of running/ rushing water.The camp hosts were very nice, there was plenty of fire wood available to purchase for 10$ a bundle.

Our two campsites were conveniently located close to restrooms, a dumpster and White River. Having to drive to a distant water faucet with a misstated location for our water was inconvenient.
@LindaS8448936 · Camped on Sep 12, 2023 at Campsite #17
Campground and site were nice as usual. However, this time a mouse or mice kept getting the car. I could not sleep. I turned on the car and drove around but the mouse kept coming back. This is the first time that has happened. If I come again I need to bring mouse traps. Only one sink working in the bathroom.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
