Very nice private off the path little campground right along Park Creek, Stayed in Site #12, one can hike or Mtn bike trail going up to Baker Hot springs on overgrown for vehicles but nice single-track trail on NF-1144, Very impressed by the clean out-houses!

The camp site was OK and the location was fine. The garbage was not cleaned often enough, it was overflowing the first night we were there. The lack of bear boxes was concerning. The claim that putting food in your locked car would be sufficient is not my experience. Small rodents can still be an issue, it is negligent that this campground does not provide any options for food storage. The lack of potable water was not made clear during the reservation process. This is an acceptable limitation, but should be clearly stated in the description of the campsite.

Great site #3, close to vault toilet. Toilet was cleaned morning off arrival and was clean for duration of stay. Great view of Mount Baker. Creek was full and flowing making great background noise. Very little shade.

Had half of our food stolen from our campsite by homeless people who were camping across swift creek from our camp. When we informed camp host they said thefts have been on going for past month. Why were we not informed about theft problems at the campground,

Kind of small camp spot site #6, no trees to tie a line to make more shade, but overall campsite was clean and quiet, would be nice to have food lockers at each site considering it's a bear resistant campground.

Reservation system needs a complete overhaul: when we arrived someone was in our spot (Park Creek) and no one was on duty to help us. Did I mention it was 92 degrees?! Finally we were directed to an overflow campsite (Swift Creek), which turned out to be great. We really enjoyed our time there--lovely campground, great boat launch, and adequate swimming area. We'll be back!

Had a good fishing trip to Baker Lake. Didnt know that there wasnt a fresh water spigot. We stayed in Park Creek campground it would be nice if the picnic tables were replaced and there was a water spigot for campers in park creek.

Absolutely loved our spot, #11. Perfectly secluded with creek access. We're not sure why one of 2 out houses was closed, doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it. We stayed 3 nights and never saw a camp host or I would have asked.

We loved this campsite! It's big and the most private out of all the sites at this campground. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the rushing river nearby, which we could walk to within the site. The toilets were not far away and were clean. We drove across the street to the swift creek campground to refill our water. This site exceeded our expectations.

The hot springs
@JudiGE9F24A88E · Camped on Jul 5, 2023 at Campsite #3
The campground was almost completely denuded of trees making it hot in the sun. In addition, the only thing that separated the campsites were overgrown bushes that were a magnet for mosquitos. The toilet was kept clean. Access to Baker Lake was less than a mile away.

Campground had one outhouse because they closed the other one that a tree fell on. The closed outhouse is made of reinforced concrete and structurally it is fine the camp host just doesn’t want to clean it. The campground is full of mice.

Last year 2022 the pit toilets were very clean! This year 2023 they were not! Seat lids were not lifted up and cleaned underneath them, cob webs all over inside of toilet as well as the outside and inside/outside not swept out. Only ONE pit toilet available for use which is NOT enough for all the people that come on the weekends. I was camped in space 1 for 9 days and during that time the garbage cans were not dumped and they were full. Plastic debris around the trash cans were not picked up. This campsite is one of my favorites and I was completely disappointed this year. Also there is absouletly NO fresh water available .....No sign on board letting people know they can get fresh water at Swift Creek CG.

I am not having to much problem making a reservation, but changing a reservation is still a challenge.

They didn’t have our reservation on our camp site. Has very little shade.

Absolutely beautiful spot with river access at the back of the campground. Short (15 min) walk to the lake. We came in a 30' 5th wheel and had no issues getting into the spot and there is a parking spot across from the site we used. No cell service but our Starlink was able to get service, even thru the trees. The camp host was very nice and helpful. We didnt want to leave!

Well distanced sites. Not too many sites, well maintained. A bit far.

The campground was great! We stayed at campsite 10 and loved it. The campsite had adequate shade (the day definitely became sunny but overall not too bad). The site is also right next to the river and has a river access point! It's also nice to be away from the very crowded Swift creek campground across the street. The bathroom was also relatively clean and nearby too. If you're looking for lake access, the campground is a solid 15-minute walk. We decided to drive and found that there's ample parking at Swift Creek for day use. The drive to the site is also not too bad. Overall it's great if you want to be away from the crowds and close to a river.

This was our 3rd family trip and again another great year. We love this place and plan on making more family memories here. Thank you for all the awesome work of keeping this place beautiful.

Quiet campground away from the bustle of the lake but close enough to walk to the day use area. Site #1 is the best in terms of privacy and vegetation, and it was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the rushing creek.

My dog and I totally enjoyed Park Creek Campground! The hosts from Swift Creek Campground were very nice. They cleaned the pit toilets every day and they did an outstanding job. I met a lot of wonderful people and plan to come back next year! Thanks, Jan Porter

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
