The online description is an outright lie. All sites do not have a driveway suitable for an RV of any size, and none of the sits are accessible for people with a disability. We had to drive an hour to find a site that could accommodate us. Dont camp here unless you are tent camping.

Such a sweet little campground! Right by the river, vault toilet was clean and well stocked with TP. Great location a short drive from Baker Lake

The web site says you can have one car and one trailer - only theres barely room for one small vehicle. They say this is an accessibly site - not true. The site is below the tiny parking spot, down a very steep hill where you have to take a 6-inch wide trail full of rocks and roots. THEY SAY THIS IS AN ACCESSIBLE SITE?We needed an accessible site and showed up to a site that is not accessible and all campgrounds were full. It took us hours to find another place to camp.

It was nice getting to the site and finding it empty. Last year I had to wait over an hour for the other campers to leave. I would give it a 5 star except for the last day there. No TP in the restroom and I never saw a camp host the 8 nights I was there. I'll probably return just because of the privacy.

Although this site is close to the highway, you'd never know it. The proximity to Boulder Creek and the wonderful sound of the river leaves all other noise behind. Catch; there are two bathrooms, and they are only a toilet. No water supply on premises. However, the beauty of the location is worth the stay.

Our camp host, Joshua, was absolutely awesome and very helpful... Even went the extra mile to make sure my grill was returned when I left it on accident... Me and the wife loved the whole area, and definitely recommend to anyone with so many areas and trails to explore, overall an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend

Great location, beautiful surroundings, small and peaceful. Bathrooms were smelly though. This particular site doesnt have a perfectly flat parking spot and made it a little tricky for our car camping. The next site down did have a flat parking spot.

I loved that this was a small campground and each campsite had its own unique character.

Not a great view, very expensive for no water and only vault toilets. There are no showers nearby which was an additional inconvenience.

A beautiful little campground right next to Boulder Creek. Some sites had creek access. Although it is close to the road, traffic noise was not an issue for me. Luckily the mosquitoes weren’t too bad. It was also nice to see a county sheriff drive through the campground. I’m not sure how often this is done and I’m guessing they drive through all the campgrounds. I would definitely come back.

This campground is awesome! The actual sites are nice and big but the driveways are tiny. Site #3 where we stayed is definitely not big enough to accommodate a trailer up to 25 feet and a vehicle as indicated on the reservation page; not to mention it was not at all level. We made it work but it was a really tight squeeze. If we were tent camping I’d give a 5 star review; if you have a trailer I’d say don’t bother. The other thing was there wasn’t really an access point to the creek bed without going directly through someone else’s campsite (either #8 or 9); luckily we made friends with our neighbors and it was really fun to explore the huge creek bed with stunning views of Mt Baker. The other thing I appreciated was that the vault toilets were some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen! Not sure if that’s because it’s the beginning of the season. Anyway, overall; awesome place and would 100% come here again with just a tent.

Very nice small campground, nice big private sites. Has a pit toilet but very well taken care of and wasn't stinky (which is always a plus). The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that there is no water, and if I'm going to make the trek to drive to that area to go camping I would rather be on the lake.

I would come back to this campground in a heartbeat. The grounds were well maintained and our site felt very private. We loved the sound of the water flowing and being able to hike along the creek bed with an incredible view of Mt Baker.

Great little campground (9 individual sites, 1 group site that is set apart). There is no camp host, but the bathroom was cleaned twice a day and was spotless. Most spots seem to have good privacy between. Sites 8, 9, and 10 have a little bit of a walk in from where you park. You can get $5 firewood at the intersection of the highway and Mt. Baker road. The Birdsview Brewery that you pass just before the Mt. Baker road turnoff has excellent beer to pick up, as well :)

We loved it. We had a large camp site, with very good privacy. Water is available two miles down the road, so if you bring two 5 gallon containers, you will be fine. The bathroom was clean and without odor. The view of Mount Baker from the traffic bridge just outside the camp is breathtaking. Baker lake swimming is just a few miles away. Several hiking trails in the area.

It was wonderful to see the campground open after about ten years. Thank you to the Department of the Interior for funding the rec area including the new roads! Boulder Creek is one of my favorite places. The sound of the river swiftly running into the lake is so relaxing. The campground was cared for and clean. The restroom was clean and stocked. I hope to have the opportunity to return next summer.

This for the most part is a mellow, quiet, private campground with only 10 regular pay sites. It is wooded and site 5 where we stayed looked closest to the river. Now the river has moved and this is a 'riverbed' site not a river site! A lovely 5 minute walk to the entry and a right turn to the bridge quickly takes you to a magnificent view of Mt. Baker any time of the day that is great for photos or just enjoying. It is a short 'hop' to Panorama point a mile away. To get water recommend going to the Electric Company free campground just south of Shadow of the Sentinels trail take the first cross street to your left and it is down the road a couple miles on your left. Wood is available there as well or at the juncture from HiWay 20 East and Baker Lake Road on your right. On Friday night there were four cars at a campsiite closest to the Hiway and people there were loudly partying and drinking until 2 AM disturbing the peace. I don't know if this is a 'free' campsite or what but I wished there were a ranger at this site to tell those persons to keep it down after 10pm.

Pristine campsite, privacy (good separation from other campers), soothing water sounds from the river, towering trees. Little road noise. A good base for local hiking

Beautiful creek, private campsites with lots of trees (which also helped block the rain)! There was a very clean vault toilet and quiet camping experience! I loved the bird houses at the campsites as well! We were up high off the creek so could not walk down but we loved the sound and saw that other sites did have pathways to the creek.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
