We stayed in site 18 (with water). The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. They were being cleaned twice per day. Beautiful view. Swimming beach was nice and clean. We went to the local marina and rented a boat one afternoon and had a great time. Everyone of the workers, staff and volunteers were friendly and professional. Being only 10 minutes from Roaring River State Park was nice as I got to spend some time with the fly rod. The campsite, however, needs some attention. There is about a 2 foot drop off from the edge of the asphalt down to the fire pit. It should be filled in with some gravel/rock/dirt. It's dangerous, especially at night. The campsite condition was the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

This was not our first time here but this time the park rangers were not kind to us at all. This place is well taken care of and kept nice and clean.

This was a great experience. We stayed at the camp ground the who weekend and it was the best to be so close to the water. This facility was so well cleaned and taken care of.

There was a group of campers who chose to blare loud music as well as making other noise until well after 1 am. It made it impossible to sleep until they did.

I have lived 10 miles from this camp site for over 30 years and this was the first time we have camped at Eaglerock. Very nice place! Well maintain. The only negative I have is the spots for larger RVs are to close together. These are the spots on the Marina side by the boat launch. Other than that we had a great time.

It was amazing and fun for the whole family. We really enjoyed there and can't wait for the next camping trip

No trash receptacles to he found and grass all over grown.
@ClayS974041527 · Camped on Aug 6, 2023 at Campsite #23
The lack of maintaining of the sites was very disappointing. Edge erosion and dirt mud around the table and site was just nasty. Some gravel and care would go a long way. I used eagle rock for many years and it was a lot better than it is now. Maybe the coe wants to close it. They sure haven't kept it up.

Grass was way high almost up to your knees causing bad Mosquitoes, and other flying insects. Couldn't hardly let my toddler play in the grass for that. We come for 2wks with 4 campers, and tents every year for our annual big summer family vacation, and it has been this way with the grass for the past 4yrs. This year was so bad with Mosquitoes, and bugs because of it. Our little children had Mosquitoe, and bug bite sores all over them. Terrible no excuse for not having contract mowers there more often. Other than that it was a good time. We will see how 2024 goes. If it is the same we probably won't be back. It is a beautiful park. We love it there. Please budget more for mowing.

The shower/bath house was clean and maintained. The swimming area is large and nice. There is a great Mexican restaurant in town if you dont want to cook one day.

Both sets of park hosts are so sweet and friendly. Love that the rangers drive by frequently to keep things safe.

We really enjoyed our camping. However, there needs to be more than 2 Womens and 2 mens showers for the whole campground!!!!! The cleaners do an amazing job!!!

The gate volunteers were amazing! The grounds was nice.

The facilities were well maintained and kept up. Cudo to the team there. However not the team's fault, the trash had not picked up by Republic Services in 2 weeks! The flies were horrible. This company should have been out to pick this up even a weekend pickup if necessary. They do a horrible job in my neighborhood too.
@KarenL1374189 · Camped on May 28, 2023 at Campsite #18
The grass needed to be mowed and the bathrooms got pretty gross through the week. Campsite 18 had a very large drop and some large rocks from the camper parking spot down to the firepit area, which was not very safe

Other than the anticipated hiway noises, quiet and comfortable. Men's shower facility very clean and modern

The weekend was perfect, even with some rain, that gave us a good excuse to go inside and take a nap. The campground was immaculately kept by the groundskeepers Sharon and Robbye. The bathhouse was cleaned multiple times throughout the day. We saw them digging out fire pits, wiping down tables, and even cleaning the site number placards. The camp hosts patrolled the grounds and were friendly upon check-in and check-out. This is a great place to get away. We will return as we have the past five years.

I've been coming to this park 25 years and things are in need of another rehab but other than that it's a nice place on the lake.

Eagle Rock was a very pleasant 5 day stay for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was just above the marina on the lake. Very quiet during the week, very busy to watch all the boats and such on the weekend. The restroom facility was top notch, paving and roads were excellent. Our 50amp power worked flawlessly, water was available from the spigot some 40 feet away. Our Dish Satellite and ATT data and cell worked well. The highlight was driving a few miles to see the Raging River fish hatchery. Very interesting, a must see. Upon leaving we used the dump-station. Our 40-foot motorhome towing a jeep had no problem navigating the semi-circle drive. Thanks.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
