Its a Beautiful location with lots of tall trees and fantastic birds right next to the river. The down side was we had noisy people while we were trying to enjoy the sounds of nature. Dont be those people!The electric receptacles need updating, site 40 didnt have a great plug and did spark. Getting in and out with a 22 trailer was easy enough. Love the arena!

The campground is beautiful and peaceful with towering pines all around. My 3.5 year old grandson enjoyed the swings and flat space around the CG to explore. A short walk to the water spigot was no problem and the water was good. Previous reports of awful bathrooms had made me wary, but I did not find that the case at all. Bathrooms are situated in one building and each is private with locking doors, clean sink & toilet, and the shower has a hinged seat available. They were cleaned and stocked daily while we were there. No traffic noise to listen to only the birds. River trail is close by, but the rock steps down are a little steep, not difficult, but not groomed stairs. I cant wait to go back and relax at this park! River was cold, but we swam at the lake above the dam.

Stayed here for trip to Eureka Springs.. was about 25 minutes away.. beaver lake was absolutely beautiful and the white river is right there as well. Was the most private campsite that we have ever stayed at.. lots of tree coverage and shade... there was evidence of storm damage.. not sure when it was.... everyone was super friendly and bathhouse was clean.. it's an old bathhouse so don't expect the Ritz. We will definitely try to stay at this campground again.. we loved our campsite.. it was 59..

The site was nice. There was a power outage and it was restored very quickly. We would definitely camp here again. The host was very gracious as well.

Great trout fishing when the water is down.

We enjoyed our camping trip, the bathroom showers had no cold water and could definitely be a turn on know rather than the push button. Unfortunately while we were visiting someone stole nearly all of our cold groceries from our ice chest. It was discouraging to realize someone had stolen stuff from our campsite.

This was our first trip to this campground. We were at Parker Bottoms in site #59. Site location was great. Very quiet for the most part. Occasional barking dog issues. The site had some broken branches that were hanging in a tree over the top of our RV which were concerning. We addressed this with the host. She said she had requested maintenance to cut them down butthey hadnt gotten to it. The bathrooms/shower house was dismal. Dirty. No trash bins. Push button shower. One of which only stayed on for 10 seconds at most. People left empty toiletries all over. Best to avoid these if possible. I never once saw a maintenance crew there cleaning.

Have a plan B if you go to fish all day! Lots of things to see within an hours drive.

I am very disappointed in the park attendant, never saw the person, no one was ever in the check in booth. The one day someone was in the booth, they had their feet up on the desk and then within an hour, they were gone. There were individuals shooting off fireworks in the campgrounds from 9pm til after 11pm and no park attendant ever came to stop it. Better yet, the park attendant was not at their campsite much at all. Site #15 our site, I found to be littered with plastic silverware, plastic toothpicks, artificial lures and pieces of trash. I have been camping at this campground for over 15 years plus and slowly over the last three years, it is starting to be known as the party campground, whether it is the fact you have 20 plus people on one site, 6 cars, 2 boats, etc.... nothing is ever enforced any longer. In this world today you would like to go ask the individuals to stop, educate them that the sign says no fireworks, only so many people on a site, but heck you are liable to get assaulted or shot. I hate the fact I am writing this review and giving such a bad comment, but it pains me to see one of my favorite places to camp going down the trash can. Patti Pierce

Beautiful, clean area. Bathrooms and camping site were great. Only thing we would have loved to be different would be access to the water close to our site. We were thankful and enjoyed it. We will ne back.

This a pretty, quiet campground. The camp host is a very pleasant young lady. Bathrooms are very nice. My problem is that you CANNOT see the river from any camp site, which is very misleading. There aren't even descent paths from camp sites to the river except the main road. Just wasn't what we were expecting.

We like #39 but all are pretty decent. The fishing was not good the week we were there they had to generate to much. But overall it was a great time with the wife an dogs!

Great old growth Pines. Right on the river for kayaking & fishing. Near, but far enough away, Eureka Springs.

Beautiful campground with lovely pine trees and lots of shade. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean for most COE campgrounds I have been to. The vibe at the campground was quiet and laid back. It appeared to be a lot of people there for the trout fishing. This particular site was right next to the bathrooms. The issue with that was that there is a light on the exterior of the bathroom that shines directly into the tent and by default there is a lot of foot traffic of people using the bathroom so I wouldn't pick this spot again. Every spot seemed to have a large flat space to put up a tent which was great! Directly across from the campsite was a path down to the river but it was steep and slippery so not good if you have any mobility issues. We also visited the swim beach area which was incredibly steep to get down to. I didn't like the actual beach but it had a nice playground and the picnic areas were very nice.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
