Big M Campground, Cassville, MO

Big M Campground in Barry county is located 1 hr 2 min northeast of Rogers, AR with an elevation of 893 feet. There are a total of 62 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to mid September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 15 and 85 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. 23 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include boat ramp, marina. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and the lake was great! I realize they are on the lake but I wish they would extend the camping season through the end of October. Sometimes just being around the lake during that time of year in Missouri is beautiful.

This spot (#12) was a great location, it is across the street from the bathroom house. The tent pad is very level and shaded for most of the day. The park attendants were again very helpful and checked in with me often during my stay. This spot is now ranked in my top 3.

I ususlly don't do reviews but I couldn't pass this one up! Every year my brothers and I do a sibling camp. This year we chose Big M campground in Cassiville, MO. All of us decided that this has got to be the best campground we've ever stayed at and I think we got the best 4 spots in the camp, 49-52! Our hosts: Jamie and Toy were the friendliest people, as are all the people we ran across in MO. The marina was close in case we needed ice and one day we rented a boat for the day to just relax on the water. The swimming area was just a short walking distance from our spots. Cassiville was just a 10 minute drive away, and Branson was only an hours drive. The campground was well manicured and cared for. We would definitely come back to this location and recommend it to all. Thanks BIg M, the Corp of Engineers, our wonderful hosts and MO for a beautiful vacation spot!

I love camping at this park. The park attendants are amazing. They came out in a severe storm to help me restake my tent that collapsed and stayed with me until I was safe. They are very attentive to their campers and are always willing to help. I am very sad the season is almost over. Will definitely make this my go-to campground.

We really liked this campground. The site (57) we had was amazing, close to bathrooms/ showers and playground. The only negative is the water pressure could have been better in the showers and there were wasps in the upper area of playground equipment.

We loved the people in charge of the camp grounds!We did have a problem with skunk every evening. The Corp needs to rehome them like they did about 35 years ago. Yes we have been coming that long

We had a wonderful time! Toiy and Jamie kept the camp looking good, and I love that there was handsoap in the bathrooms! Very nice.We did have a minor skunk problem this year. It looks like a family of skunks has moved in. Would it be possible tohave them moved to another location away from campers?

Great experience. The campsite was very clean with a lot of shade and great view of the lake and with easy access to the marina and restaurant. The camp hosts were very helpful and even assisted us with firewood from a recent storm. The restrooms were clean but could use an update. Overall a wonderful experience.

Campsite was over grown and had poison ivy right up to the picnic table pad. This site has absolutely no shade. We left 2 days early. Would not book that site again.ever.

We loved Big M the hosts were great. The only thing was the showers felt like you were getting misted and didn't have any water pressure really. Other then that we had a great experience.

This is the cleanest campground weve ever been to.We like the sites on the point for the views of the lake but the inner campgrounds are just as nice.Th hosts are super friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back

Toiy & Jamie were wonderful. I lost my glasses while camping at Big M and Jamie went back to our camp site and searched until he found them. Toiy contacted me through email and voicemail to let me know that they were found. They went above and beyond to help me. Thank you
