Beautiful park, clean restroom/showers. An easy to use park which we'll be returning to!

Love the campground and swimming, but beware if tent camping: Neighbor campers are not considerate with lights or noise and tend to walk through your campsite like you're not even there!

Probably the cleanest bathrooms and shower in any camp ground. Went to capefair campground earlier in the year and was so nasty I felt like I needed a shower after leaving the shower. I watched the cleaner walk in and back out never cleaned them. I would highly recommend Campbell point campground for cleanest campground around.

Campbell Point is a nice campground in a beautiful area. Campsites are clean and well maintained, as are the bath houses. Two negatives: 1) I never saw a gatehouse attendant during my 3 night stay. The booth was closed each time I drove or walked by it, so I never received a card to display at my site. 2) There was some sort of noisy construction next to our campsite, and the sawing, hammering and drilling began at 7 each morning. (Fortunately I'm an early riser.)Overall, a good visit.

The boat ramp is probably the worst about Campbell point. You have to literally back your whole truck into the water to unload and load the boat. If you are doing it by yourself get ready to get very wet and hopefully water isn't cold.

Seems every time we go the the grass is needing mowed restrooms were clean and well taken care of. Just need more enforcement on making users pick up the dog waste we see a lot just walking off seems to be worse here than other sites we visit

The sites were spacious and varied as far as terrain and foliage. Very nice staff at the kiosk. Sanitary blocks very clean and the shower water nice and hot! Two things we would rec'd to you: install dishwashing stations around the camp. Have recycling bins around the park. THX

Nice and quiet while we were there in mid October on a Sunday and Monday. Trash dumpster was very full and Marina was not open much. Bathrooms were clean and functional, cell phone service was good. Squirrels were entertaining and plentiful. Management was helpful and informative.

Utilities were on then opposite side from normal. Therefore, couldn't hook up to sewer because our sewer connection was too short

The Couple at the gate were wonderful! Sorry to see them go , and replaced with a machine. The add to the great experience we have always had at Campbell Point!

A well-kept very very very nice Campground! Our spot was right by the lake and the view was gorgeous!
@BrentM7416670 · Camped on Oct 2, 2023 at Campsite #25
We were in site 25 and the smell was so bad we only stayed 2 nights out 8 nights. It appeared that the smell was coming from what looked to be above the ground sewage holding tanks for the marina. The grass needed mowing it was tall enough that it had gone to seed. The view was nice, but I cannot recommend this site due to the above stated.

We always enjoy Campbell Point campground but this time the condition of the campground was not up to par. Maybe it was due to it being late season but the grass had not been mowed in some time and the dock by the boat ramp was not on the bank. To access the dock, you had to wade through water. One thing we have noticed at many of the federal parks lately is the park hosts are not as involved as they once were. At several of the parks, Tuttle Creek in Kansas, Clinton Lake in Kansas, and here at Campbell Point, it used to be you were given a trash bag, mirror tag, campground map and the posts at each sight were marked with the reservation. Little, if any, of this is done now.

It was a wonderful place to camp at. The site we was at were very close to bathrooms and the swim beach and the bathrooms were clean and they even had life jackets for adults and kids to use. The park attendant was very nice and helpful and overall my stay there was really nice. The marina was a nice place to go to as well they have a number of items in there that are there in case you forgot something at home including ice and the marina employees were nice as well. We will definitely be coming back should we ever head out that way again

I enjoyed my week at Campbell Point very much. I had car trouble during the week and the campground hosts were exceptionally helpful in giving me several phone numbers of auto service centers in the area. The only complaint that I had was the signs for the various campsites were not that easily located.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
