Lovely campground. Clean restrooms and showers. A little dated but taken care of. The hosts were friendly and informative.

Great camp grounds with a nice facilities! Usually very peaceful, but this week had a lot of construction on the road next to campground!

Park is easy to get around in. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Campsites along the road are noisy, but it was our first time. We look forward to trying another site.

Lovely views of the lake and great little town across the street.

Road construction next to camp was a bit annoying. But it looked like they were close to finishing the project on the day we left.

I was a little disappointed with our stay here this time. The 50 amp circuit did not work and they were not going to be able to get it fixed until 2 days after our stay. Good thing we did not need the AC for this trip. The site was also not very level. We were in a motorhome and the rear of the site was 6 inches lower than the front of the site. Very creative leveling so we did not have the rear tires off of the ground. The camp hosts and rangers were all great people and they are some of the best here at this campground. We had T-Mobile internet service with 5G and had very fast internet on this site.

Cross Lake is a beautiful spot with many lovely campsites. We used a 50-amp electric site to charge our Rivian EV. An excellent means of having a full charge the next morning.

This was the nicest campground I have ever been too. Linda checking in was awesome! The campsites are big and clean. The boat docks are incredible and spacious. Boat launch and parking were good. Great campground! Nice job Crosslake!

I am very confused -- the website shows that all the sites are reserved. When we arrive, the campground has many open sites. Perhaps there should be a higher reservation fee that is refundable when used, but not refundable if campers do not arrive.

Absolutely beautiful park. Maintenance staff super responsive to what I'm sure was a fluke failure of a 30A breaker at my campsite. Nice showers. Beautiful view of the lake and swimming beach right behind my campsite. Very popular campground and lots of very happy kids there. Lots of campsites. Worth staying a few days just to enjoy the park. Friendly staff. One of the best COE campgrounds I've visited!

Hard to get a reservation at this campgroung. Only one boat landing.

I love camping there, but maybe I gave it a rating that was too high base on the road construction. We went miles out of the way and wasted about an hour trying to find out a way to get into the Rec area. I finally ended up going to the Chamber of Commerce to find out how to get into the park. There should have been some kind of notification to campers regarding that

Ive been camping at Crosslake Rec Area for 43 years. This past week long camping trip was the worst ever. Six neighboring campsites had generators, 2 of them ran 24 hours a day for 7 days straight. Quiet hours mean nothing here. We were assured the generators would be off from 10p-7a but there was no enforcement by the Rangers. One neighbor complained to the group with generators and he was belittled until he finally packed up and left.There were plenty of campsites with electricity available and the large group continued to run their machines in the non-electric sites all week.This group was out of control, swearing and yelling all evening. Each morning we would wake to vomiting by several in the group that over imbibed in booze the night before. Again, no Rangers to quiet the group or maintain the maximum of 8 people per site. It was out of hand the first night and continued to spiral out of control as the week went on.If youre looking for a quiet camping experience, this is not the place. Until they ban generators in the campground, stay in the area with electric sites if you want a peaceful night.

Never go to this campground it is awful! Im just kidding!!!! I dont like recommending this camp ground only because it makes it that much harder to get reservations for myself!!! We have been going to CrossLake Campground since I was a kid and I have continued going every year (that We could get in) as an adult with other family members. This has to be one of the nicest places to go and just have a relaxing time. It is always clean, has wonderful restrooms, large sites, pleasant rangers , and one thing I really like is that @ 10 pm it is like the noise switch is clicked off. Quite time is 10pm & most campers abide by this rule and if they dont a quick phone call takes care of it. The rates are so reasonable that we are able to afford an entire week stay without breaking the bank.TOTALLY a 10+ Rating From our Family for over 45 years!!!

This is not my idea of "camping". This is more like a "summer camp"! I stopped here to camp and fish on a road trip from Colorado to Canada.Overall, the place is nice and provides services like showers, playgrounds, swim beaches, etc. They do a decent job at keeping these amenities fairly clean. Many, many children running around playing (sometimes loud). Campsites are fairly close together and easily within view of each other. Boats on the lake were blasting music at midnight on one of my nights there.My campsite had a nice, flat, shaded area in the grass, but I was told I had to move my tent onto the driveway. This is not a level, gravel camping pad; but a rocky, uneven, (very hard) surface where you park your car. It was the equivalent of sleeping in the middle of a mountain road like we have in Colorado. Very uncomfortable.Most people coming to a place like this have extensive set ups, like RVs, campers or giant tents with cots. Many bikes and electric scooters buzzing around all day. Restaurants and bars nearby as well. I'm more of a backpacker and I found my stay here the least "outdoorsy" experience I can remember.It was nice to use my inflatable kayak to fish and the fishing was decent in mid July (small pike and bass).Overall I would add 1 star if I wasn't forced to set my tent up on the rocks when a perfectly nice section was available within my site on the grass.I think they do a decent job otherwise here, it's just not my idea of camping!

This is our favorite place to camp, even with the current construction going at the entrance, it was still enjoyable.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
