I had a nice pull through site for the three nights I was there. Since it was very hot, I ran my air conditioner most of the time. I needed a few days to decompress and this was good for me. I had water on site and used the dump site when I was leaving. Very relaxing.

Great spot to stay! There was a storm that passed through one night and the camp host was out picking up limbs first thing in the morning. The public bathroom has one stall for men and one for women that is a toilet AND a shower. So it was occupied most of the time. Its new and very nice though, unfortunately for the four days we were there it wasnt cleaned. Otherwise everything else was in tip top shape and well kept!

Hands down the cleanest bath house Ive ever been in. My only suggestion would be to turn the hot water higher. I had my shower all the way hot and it was still pretty cold. But Ill still be back in the future. Place looked great. Green and freshly mowed.

1 bathroom is not enough for this park! It is very HOT and VERY slippery! And the water doesn't get very hot. When the park has alot of visitors you have to wait in line to take a shower or use the toilet because it is all 1 room. Usually stay 10+ more times a year but only stayed 3 times this year because of bathroom.

Nothing special, just needed a place to stop and sleep.

We stayed at campsite 24. There is a large black locust tree growing there with very large thorns. We were fortunate we did not suffer any flat tires or thorns thru our flip-flops. The site does not have shade during the hottest part of the day. The COE built a new bathhouse for the campground but it is too small for the number of campers. They need to build an additional bathhouse to adequately serve the number of campers.

Quiet, private, away from the hustle and bustle

Multiple extremely shady campsites. Many with water and electricity, no sewer. There is a nice slow running River nearby with a boat launch. At the time I was here the river was running maybe at about 1 mph. Easy kayaking heavily wooded area on the back side of the lake Pomona. No walking trails to speak of. We could take a 2-mile walk around the area and down a gravel road and back. Campsites in the fall will be limited by the walnut trees dripping sap whenever that starts to happen. There are a great number of walnut trees. We plan on coming back multiple times in the future.

The hosts are very friendly. Even if you make a mistake they just come out and ask how they can help . It is very quiet here even when the park is full

What a beautiful park!!!! We have been coming to Pamona for at least 25 years and have stayed in most of the campsites but Carbolyn was one we had never stayed at. When we made this reservation, the other campgrounds were pretty booked up and Carbolyn was the only one with a site available for all the days we were looking for. I booked it and crossed my fingers we would like it. Like is not a strong enough word. We absolutely loved that park and will probably try to stay there from now on when we go to Pamona. The cam hosts were amazing as well. I would recommend this campground to everyone even though that may make it difficult for me to make a reservation. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

Carbolyn Park is an undiscovered treasure! We are tent campers with kids in our group from 1 to 17 years old. We have stayed at these same sites twice this summer. The bathhouse was clean and tp was well stocked. Everything was in working order and the shower was plenty warm! (Just wish the shower water stayed on a bit longer with each press of the button!) Playground equipment was well maintained and the kids spent hours playing there. The camp hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Some of our kids suspected they might be Santa and Mrs Clause and the hosts were kind enough to play along. The hosts make regular rounds to check in and make sure things are going well. The county Sherrif makes regular rounds making an already safe feeling site feel that much more safe. Huge beautiful trees provide ample shade, the picnic tables and fire rings are all in good condition and the water and electrical hookups were as well. We will definitely be back! Wish this campground was open with electric/water longer into the fall because we'd be back in early October if it was possible!

The campground is awesome.but the lady that cleans the bath room and empties the trash is rude and a bitch.she just needs to do her job and not worry about what you are doing and everyone one else

The park hosts at Carbolyn are WONDERFUL they are so kind and thoughtful and really take great pride in the park. They were very accommodating of our large group and made our stay an absolute success.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
