The campground was clean and quiet. The restrooms were clean and operational. I wish, at least as of 10 PM, the motorhomes and trailers would turn off their porch and patio lights. Basically, their exterior lights. I wish the lights around the restrooms were a little dimmer After 10 PM. Clearly, im a tent camper.

This was one of my favorite stays as we traveled across America visiting as many parks as we could in 6 months. The park is in a beautiful and pristine setting. The park personal were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and picked up.

Camp ground, camp site, restrooms and camp host were very good. The wind was strong at times. The trees were yellow and beautiful.

Excellent campground, when we came we found deers within! There are showers and correct restroom. There where also selling timber, which was important cause in mid-October it was cold (below zero during the night).1h drive to the west Yosemite entrance.

Silver Lake Campground is in a beautiful location, June Lake Loop, surrounded by mountains and lakes! Campground hosts keep the restroom clean and they are very pleasant. Showers are available also. Both times staying there people were quite so if you want to party please go elsewhere! Across the road there is a hiking trail that leads to awesome views and lakes!

This used to be one of my favorite campgrounds, and maybe the magic has worn off because Ive stayed so many times. On a clear day, the lakefront view is unquestionably spectacular. I tent camp and it used to not bother me that this place predominantly hosts big RVs. Now when I pull into the campground, it feels like one giant RV parking lot. Most of the choice rustic sites are closer to the lake. Several are just OK. But there are about ten great ones close to the shoreline They are pretty difficult to reserve, so plan your visit at least six months in advance if you want to be near the water. Definitely worth the effort.If you want to take a shower, prepare to walk. The facilities are clear down at the opposite end of the property. But at least theyre good and hot. This is definitely a fishermans campground, but it feels pretty welcoming to everyone. And the nearby cafe and store are a real treat. And of course the June Lake Loop and proximity to lots of trails, attractions, and excursions cant be beat. I had some bad luck this year with really loud neighbors who didnt respect quiet hours. I dont get the sense that the camp hosts make much of an effort to enforce quiet hours either. As well, you have to make peace with constant hum of RV generators. Im gonna skip coming here for a few years and hopefully someday Ill rediscover Silver Lake Campground with fresh eyes. For you newbies, reserve early and enjoy the view!

Campsite was beautiful, was a short walk to the lake and general store. Our site was next to many trees which made us feel as though we had privacy and still included with the other sites. Bathrooms were well maintained daily. Our stay was very windy at the end of the night.

Unless you pay for my gas to get there ,there isnt anything that you could do to make my stay any better

One of our favorites. The only negative comment would be there is not a dump site.

Great place to visit! Be prepared for all sorts of weather- we had some pretty crazy windy days and a few great days! It snowed the day we left!

Great campground. Has amazing views from just about any site. The lake is a short walk from most sites. Has functional showers and restrooms. Great location to base a trip on the June Lake loop.

This place use to be incredible..after coming every year for the last 40 yrs as my father and grandfather did we've watched it as of late go right down the toilet...screaming flocks of kids on e bikes, Yelling parents, tourist walking right through your campsite, trash spilling out of the recycle bins and the camp host named mark doesnt really do anything to keep the place serene or enforce people driving through at 30 mph or loud party groups on fact when we visited we mentioned maybebtheybcould tonenit down a bit later tonfing out the camp host had tons of family in the park...now with all the loud parties and screaming kids you won't even hear nature you'll see kids on bikes scaring yhe local deer and wildlife what you'll see is the new city yuppie suburban urbanite campers that have come to the mountains and brought there bad city habits along. Parents have completely failed in teaching and handing down outdoor etiquette it's a terrible sight to see

Great opportunity for hiking, fishing, biking and nighttime star gazing. Very nice campground but know that there are not hookups, but water is provided in several locations around the campground. Closest dump station is at Oh Ridge -June Lake.

Such a gem! Its a beautiful campground with fairly private sites and Lake or creek access. Dont forget to go across the street to the silver lake cafe for a delicious breakfast!

Beautiful and relaxing. One thing to be aware of is there is a plant there that looks nice but if your skin makes contact with it it HURTS REALLY BAD its called Stinging Nettle. It burns you. Unfortunately, my daughters site had huge bushes of it surrounding one whole side of her camp site, near the picnic bench and the sitting area. It seems dangerous to allow a plant that hurts you so badly near the living space and there is no sign anywhere near that huge bush that is down one whole side of that camp site that indicates that it is dangerous. We had dogs and a 1 year old at that site.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
