We loved camping at June Lake in October. The campground was full of fall colors and right on the lake. The sites were a great size and the facilities were clean. We'd definitely stay there again!

Best lake camping with many dog friendly hiking trails within walking distance. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper and flushing toilets. Camp host is very helpful and friendly (best host I ever run across in any campgrounds). No showers here, but right next door they have showers that campers can use. It is also next to June lake marina (and store). Walking distance (really close) they have restaurants and bar. Great location and u have access to 2 lakes if fishing is your thing.

Weve been coming here every summer for many years now. Camp host is super friendly and while some sites have less privacy than others, its still a nicely maintained campground close to beautiful June lake.

I had campsite #16 (Joe Montana!) and it was excellent. Kind of sunken into a hollow which made it seem secluded and intimate. Also protected from the wind which was howling nonstop for several hours. Thankfully, the wind completely died just in time for me to grill my ribeye steak and then was able to sit in front of a campfire without fear of the embers blowing. I've camped here many times before and love it here. Great location next to the lake and walking distance to the village.

It was perfect. Clean, private, and beautiful. Would go there again in a heartbeat. Site 5 was ideal.

June Lake is one of my favorite camping sites. It feels safe and accessible to amenities with beautiful sites and scenery.

Beautiful place. The campsite has the perfect location. We had an issue with a yellow jacket nest on our site and they quickly came and removed it on the first morning

Stayed at site #12 in July, came out staying "no June in July." Nothing against the campground much, even tho our site was pretty tight, but the flies (they bite) were insuffable.

Very busy and popular place. Camp grounds were nice, a tad close in some cases. Very hot and lots of spots dont have shade so try and make sure you have the kind you want by looking at those sites that show multiple pics of each spot.

Quiet and very conveniently located campground. Weve visited at the beginningof July and had to deal with loads of mosquitoes.

The second day of our stay we went to enjoy the day at June Lake. Upon returning to our campground in the late afternoon we noticed that our tent was unstaked and moved to the side and there was a new family at our campsite with their tent setup. We spoke to the family and they stated that they had that campsite reserved as well and were told by the host to move our tent and belongings. We then proceeded to speak to the host which verified that the campsite was double booked to both families. The host was not able to provide a solution other than stating he left a voicemail for the managers. Our vacation trip was cut short due to no longer having a place to stay and being forced to drive back home.

Tent site location was fantastic! The campground is a five minute walk to town which was very convenient. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. There's a nearby general store and marina that we can rent a shower for, I think the price was $6 for (5) minutes. If you're paying $30 a night just for a campsite without electricity and it's own water source, showers should be included along with cleaner toilets and sinks. We would stay there again, just thought the price was high for what we received. A wash basin for tent campers to clean their gear would be nice as it wasn't allowed from the campsite water spigot.

Jack is awesome!We had reserved our site 6 months in advance. We arrived to find our site occupied. We realized that a local company had not picked up their rental trailer, so he advised us to get dinner and come back. By that time (75 minutes) he had gotten the company to come and get the trailer and we were able to set ours up promptly. The place is awesome. We will be back!

Our site was very wooded and private with good shade. Easy walk to marina or into town and beyond. Good service on Verizon. In spite of being near a road, the campground was quiet.

Stayed in this campground for 4 days in memorial weekend.Our group stayed in T003 & T006 for first 2 nights. The entire tent only sites are the closest to the lake and to the marina esp. if you want to take a shower and a potable water beside T003. T003 is exposed, no shade, T006 has some shade and great view of the mountain. We stayed in #12 on our 3rd night. I love it since it has shade, lots of trees and next to a potable water too and restroom is near. If I will stay here again, I will choose #12 or #11. Campground was quiet on a memorial weekend and less crowds. Restroom has a flushable toilet and is well maintained but theres no light and soap.Firewood is $9 per bundle.We checked out the different campgrounds in june lake loop but this is the most beautiful since other campgrounds are exposed and the village and gull lake is just a walking distance. I will definetely recommend this campground.

A clean, well managed campground in a fantastic location! Adjacent to the marina, and walking distance to town.Special thanks to the host for helping me with a dead RV battery! Without his help I would have spent part of my vacation driving around Mammoth trying to find a deep cycle battery in Memorial Day crowds.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
