Getting in and out was easy. Campsites not level, some adjustments are needed. Overall quite, but being bug spray

Beautiful campground just across the street from Gull Lake. Had no troubles driving to Gull Lake to put in kayaks. Lots of trees, shade, and flush toilets! Only negative: the bugs! Bring bug spray, mosquitos in the AM and PM, flies (some biting) in the afternoon. Stayed here in early July 2024. Maybe less bugs other times of year?

We had a lot of mosquitos on our stay. Bathrooms were not clean . I would say reversed creek campground is much quieter than June Lake campground so that was a huge plus. If the bathrooms were clean and no mosquitos I would have given it four stars.

I stayed in a tent in a pretty little grove of aspens, beneath a large pine tree. Beautiful campsite. (6/20 -23, 2024) The mosquitoes and flies were quite heavy, unfortunately. Cut my stay short by a day as a result.

Love this campground. We stay here every year and will hopefully keep doing so. It is close to Yosemite and we love having June Lake in our backyard.

Nice Location. Site #9 is excellent. Near town and hiking trails

Many of the sites are not level, so if you are traveling in a van or RV check sites carefully. The location is great, sites are nice. Bathrooms are outdated and were disgusting. They were not cleaned once during our stay, and the toilet paper ran out.

This was our 46th year camping at Reverse Creek in campsite 14. Its a fishing tournament on the first Saturday in June and always a great trip!

Nice quiet little campground, with lots of birch trees and dappled shaded sites. Right across the road from Gull Lake, where there is a boat ramp and some minimal shore access. I much preferred Reversed Creek to the sprawling, somewhat barren Oh Ridge campground, where I have camped before. Reversed Creek has ample water spigots and good clean bathrooms (flush with sinks) and trash/recycling at the center of the loop. It is near the June Loop road, but car noise is minimal.

The campground was absolutely stunning, quiet and serene. We were surprised to discover the bathrooms had heaters, given the evening dropped to 34 degrees (mid-October stay), it was a pleasant surprise. The host was friendly and welcomed us kindly. Was wonderful to see all the Autumn colors: yellows, oranges, browns, reds, and all the hues between those were breath-taking. We want to come back next year but during more favorable weather conditions (early June).

Nice, small campground. I have a 20' travel trailer and got a pull through site (#5). Was also able to get some sun on my solar panels. The site was a little sloped but not bad and I was able to level out easily. Campground host was friendly and always seemed to be around the area. Short walk to Gull Lake and June Lake. Since it was early October, the campground was about half full and nice and quiet. Warm sunny days and cooler nights by the campfire. I enjoyed my stay there and definitely would visit Reversed Creek campground again.

Camp was available as scheduled. People before me left trash in the fire pit. I always practice good house keeping skills.

This small campground is not bad depending on the campsite you get. The area is very pretty and the lakes are good for water activities including fishing. This is our second year here and last year we didn't have any real issues except some mosquitoes and yellow jackets. However, this year when we arrived there was leftover trash, and boxes on the campsites, quiet hours were not enforced (loud music and wood chopping occurred up to 1:30 am) and one of our firepits was very full of leftover ash making it unusable but the biggest issue was the bathrooms, which were not cleaned for almost the entire week. Needless to say, they got very gross, dirty toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, trashcans full, and toilet paper empty in one. The camp host was not really around much and on our last day as we were packing up, I saw him and asked who was supposed to clean the bathrooms and he replied he was. Obviously, he was not doing his job as in every other campground I've been to over the years, the bathrooms were cleaned daily. This was very disappointing.

First time at this campground As a seasoned camper in the area I thought it was great!!
@RichardR254074 · Camped on Aug 6, 2023 at Campsite #5
Campsite 5 is not very level. Had to block up left side of RV to get close to level. Water spigot close to RV had no threads so I could not connect hose to fill water tank.

Visit the lakes, hike the falls, and check out Bodie Ghost Town down the road a bit.

beautiful campsite with small hike to a view of the waterfall! only downsides was there was a ton of mosquitoes and you cant walk to town from this campground!

We got sites 4&5 a couple days before we wanted to go on a weekend in July so someone must have just cancelled- lucky for us! We live in Mammoth so it was a great “staycation” for us & our friends. Really great location- entrance is across the street from Gull Lake. Can’t hear any road traffic from site and these 2 sites were kind of set apart from the rest so we couldn’t hear any other campers there either. Spaces were large- our (#4) was a little uneven, but nothing so bad we wouldn’t come back. It was buggy (as is everywhere this year), but after walking around the campground, we realized our sites were probably the least buggy out of all of them! Would definitely recommend sites 4&5 if you are traveling with a friend/family- they were close enough yet definitely separate

Great but mosquitos are a bit out of control... Thousands swarm the camp area be prepared, Otherwise a clean quiet site to enjoy.
@AdrianaRA8E53F · Camped on Jun 29, 2023 at Campsite #2
We loved this campground, had an amazing time. The mosquitos were intense and abundant. Bug spray did nothing, I suggest taking sage to burn.
@KathrynB522687 · Camped on Jun 24, 2023 at Campsite #12
June 2023 - some sites flooded and not available. Camp host not enforcing policies or rules, creating a less pleasant and potentially unsafe environment. (not enforcing rules about dogs off leash, more than 6 people per site, max 2 cars per site and fee for 2nd car) Hopefully this will change in the future.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
