Easy to find, clean camping spaces. Not much coverage so if you are sun sensitive, bring canopies and good tie downs. The wind does pick up a bit. Easy drive down to launch area. Vault toilets only. Lake of the woods is just down the highway as well.

This campground is vey dusty. The host uses an atv to drive around checking on things constantly and the tires of that vehicle keep the road chewed up. It would be an improvement to lay some 3/4 minus in road be and camp site parking areas, pavement would be best. The road in and out is also dust covered causing the flora to suffer.

The park hosts were very welcoming, informative and friendly. Due to the nearby wildfires, we got to see some prop planes in action picking water off the lake. The only downfall was the amount of mosquitos but come on it is nature.

Did not go account of the conditions. Had a fire in the area & was to Smokey to be in the this area for bad health people. Tried to get my money back but had a hard time with cancelling the reservation. Would not let me cancel So thats my bad experience

The hike to Badger Lake was awesome. The trail was well maintained and made for an enjoyable afternoon hike.

Was motorcycle camping and this site while ok to get to on motorbike was a bit difficult. Trucks with boats were driving pretty fast and it was almost 4 miles down a dirt road to the site. Maybe next time when we come with a car.

They cut down all the trees. No shade. No privacy. Like camping in the dessert with a bunch of strangers. Not worth it. Just left

I absolutely love this camp ground! The only thing that I have problems with, is all the bees. There is a constant swarm at any of the sites and even when food is covered and put away they are around. Every time we visit we bring spray and bee traps.

Even though someone had taken the spot I reserved, there were others of equal comfort available and I took one of those. Camp Host was knowledgeable and friendly. I went for a ride on my bicycle on the canal trail and there are some great views of Upper Klamath Lake and Pelican Butte. It is also a relatively car-free way to get to the Rye Spur and Brown Mountain trails.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
