Doe Point is a beautiful camp ground, right on the lake. The camp host, Kevin, is amazing - great customer service!

We had a family reunion at Doe Point and it was the PERFECT weekend! The camp host, Kevin, was awesome! He made sure we had everything we needed to have a fantastic time, whether it was bringing us wood and even giving us his lighter since our matches were wet! Thank you, Kevin, for making our last camping trip of the year...the best!

Love this campground but seems to me its going downhill. Camp host not doing much to keep it clean.

The camp site was a bit dirty... upon leaving, my Party policed the camp site and picked up about half a shopping bag of garbage.The host was friendly and provided excellent service and information.Parking spot was large and roomy. Plenty of space.The restrooms were clean and well stocked. One of the men's room, close to site 9 had the lights out.

Kevin, the camp host was terrific. The site was spotless and while there were issues with the restrooms, he kept me and the other campers informed as to when they were back in order. It was a great camping experience and I hope to do it again next year.

The bathroom situation was pretty bad, thats why I am going only two stars. No one in charge around, it was kind of just meh. Place was ok.

This camp site was pretty small and didn't have much cover. No place to hide from the rain or shade. The closest bathroom did not work. The girls bathroom across the way did not have water in the sinks and the boys bathroom was smeared with feces. The hosts were lovely.

Very friendly and helpful camp hosts. Quiet hours properly enforced. Campground clean and well maintained. Overall great place to camp.

Close to the lake, easy walks and quiet get a way.

Bathroom was out of order. Then there was no water available.

Love the campground, we try to get up here 2-3 times in the summer. It is a great campground to just relax at. The trail from Fish Lake to Lake of the Woods is a great ride or hike. Makes almost a 20 mile round trip.

Site 15 is big and flat. Loved it. What I didn’t like was the site up from me had a large gathering and they spoke like they are at home loud and no respect for others. The kids were loud yelling and crying and talking also as they were the only ones there. Had a couple walk by my sight were I passed out for exhaustion and their little girl let out a blood curdling cream. What the heck. I realize kids make noise but 6 hours is a bit to much. Parents were talking like they were right next to me . Loud.

We love staying at this campground. We visit 1-2 times per year. The only reason I only gave it four stars instead of five is because the men's bathroom near sites 8-12 had a broken toilet. Later it was backed up. Nevertheless, I'm sure that the issue is already fixed, and we'll visit again next year. The hiking, as usual, was great. Next year I'll bring my mountain bike. Hopefully we'll have a better winter and the lake will be full.

Great campground. Small which I prefer and with lots to do, hiking, water sports etc.

We enjoyed our camp site but the bathroom facilities were nasty
@SteveS6334481 · Camped on Jul 28, 2022 at Campsite #8
Lake level was down with algae warnings . And the people that are cleaning the bathrooms aren’t CLEANING the bathroom. They used to be pretty nice . The roads are past due getting fixed . Still a peaceful place to go camping . Except for paying extra for one more vehicle that’s bullshit!!
@DeborahR772108 · Camped on Jul 18, 2022 at Campsite #10
One of our favorite spots. Quiet, spots are spaced out for privacy and clean.
@HeatherA230508 · Camped on Jul 15, 2022 at Campsite #30
Campsite was private, tons of space and had a trail that takes you down to fish lake resort. Also, right on the lake! (Site 30)

Only negative was the water faucet did not work near our site so we had to carry water a ways. The bathroom maintenance was excellent!

Campground is awesome

My wife and I love this campground. We go mid-week, so it's not very crowded. The water level was pretty low this year (2021) so we didn't get the chance to use the paddleboards, but the hiking was great. There's easy access to the PCT, or you can ride your mountain bike. We visited this campground twice this year - once in May and again in August. The bathrooms were clean, the campsite reasonably level (we have a 27-foot motorhome), good mix of sun & shade, and not very buggy.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
