Large campsites in old growth forrest. Very clean rest rooms. Great (but slow) restaurant a short walk. Pay showers.

Bathrooms were relatively clean but the toilet and sink were clogged for 1/2 our vacation. Spaces were well-marked and clean. Very nice.

Great space, will definitely return. As mentioned in other reviews, there is some road noise all night from the highway behind site 10, but we slept fine for camping. The restrooms are clean, trails are nice, and site picked up. Easy access to Fish Lake, but the fish cleaning house isn't working as of 8/2023. However, the camp ground was perfect for our stay.

Main bathroom needs major update. Fish cleaning station busted. A lot of small garbage laying around campsites. I have been going there for over 40 years. Very disappointed.

The area was clean and quiet, we were able to rent a boat and caught fish both days, and the best part if you have been camping for a few days the resort has a shower all can use it. it is coin operated, and the resort staff were very nice and always helpful.

This campground has no posted quiet hours, be prepared for lots of noise. It's also close to the day use area with more noise but that calmed down about 5:00pm. Nice sites, but you can hear the highway. It is next to the resort Café and store. Trails are nearby. Not the best for quiet relaxing camping.

Very disappointed in condition of the campground. Fish lake is beautiful as always.

We went to Fish Lake to enjoy the piece and quite. The campground was nice however there where campers that had constant loud music playing most of the night. Very unpleasant way to spend a hopeful relaxing trip.

The host was great. Water levels are low as expected. Everyone was quite and there were plenty of edible berries to forage near by.

The sites were awesome and host was very nice

This was a great campground! Lots of trees and site 10 was nice and private. The facilities were clean and it seemed much nicer than the resort next door - although that was nice to be able to walk over and get ice or firewood or food and rent a kayak. The lake is pretty and if you go across you get great views of Mt. Mcloughlin. I would go back if I was in the area.

It was a nice camp spot. The real bummer was that all fires were banned, including in the designated fire pit. That really hurts the experience for everyone. I understood the reason due to the amount of wild fires and how dry it was. However, a break on the rate would have been much appreciated for the lack of not being able to use a key component of the camping experience.

It would have been nice to know beforehand that the lake is seasonal and was VERY low during our visit mid August. Also, we didn’t catch a single fish…I guess the name of the lake is misleading :)

The campground was clean and quiet, the lake was low but that’s just the nature of this time of year. The camp hosts Dorthy and Sherman were outstanding! Thanks for a great trip!

water is too low this year to enjoy the bank. It is very muddy and you sink easily if trying to swim. I don't recommend trying. Hopefully water will be better next year. Bathrooms are marginally clean. I don't think they've been swept for cobwebs or spiders for a month.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
