The campground were nice and bathrooms were clean. Plenty of space in-between campsites but only one parking spot available which isn't the best but there's not much room. The road to get to the campsite was closed due to snow so the first night we couldn't even stay there and it was march.

There is a person who stays at the base in a camper and actively checks people in! Nice for security purposes. Bathroom was clean and theres hand sanitizer, no sinks. The river close by is very beautiful! This specific spot (#10): you can pull in and then there is maybe a 15 foot walk to the circle campground spot. Had bench, grill, and fire pit. Well maintained.

The place was amazing. Ultra clean. The restrooms were super clean as well. Everything was peaceful and the nature is beautiful. We will definitely be here again and invite friends.

Great camp area. A little noisy if you are on the road side of the loop; the river side might be more nature quiet with the stream.

Nice location near Oak Creek. Smaller sites and limited parking with quiet, peaceful campsite within drive to popular sites.

We absolutely love this campground. Its far enough out of the hustle of town, but close enough to get right back into hiking the next day. The creek flowing through adds to the ambiance of the tree coverage, and red rock background.

Camp host was very friendly and allowed us to switch campsite. Nice and woodsy. There is traffic noise during the day as is close to the hwy, but at night was quiet. Bathrooms were really clean.

Great small campground. Quiet and peaceful . The camp hosts were friendly and helpful too!

All campsites a little close together, but overall beautiful place. Great hike trailhead right across the road. Nice creek sounds to sleep to. Super clean toilets. Camp hosts friendly and with firewood to vend. Also very close to Slide Rock State Park and downtown Sedona. Great picnic tables!

Excellent location between Flagstaff and Sedona. Beautiful views along the river. Small campsites with not much privacy. Drinking water and pit toilets on site. Close to the road, but quiet at night.

Easy to find! Level ground for tent camping and short walks to the bathroom! River front area and lively river sound to lull you to sleep!

Manzanita had clean bathrooms, respectful neighbors, and a great camp host. Idid make a mistake, though. While the campground is tent-only, I did not realize that site 10 was more like a walk-in site. We have a rooftop tent, and we had to walk past site 9 every time we went from our site to our car and tent.

Nice tent campground close to Sedona. The road noise wasn't too bad, and you can also hear the stream at night. Firewood is $8/bundle, I would recommend buying it before getting there.

Not many people, probably from the time of year but the spot was great. Only about 15 min away from the town of Sedona, had its own trails, little river, etc. the rangers were nice and helpful.

I didn't realized it's a very tent oriented campsites. They indicated this in their website, but i was planning all along to sleep in my Van. My vehicle and my campsite #10 is quite far from each other, unlike most campsites where you usually park your car at your campsite. This means carrying all your gears all the way to the campsite. (Approx 30 yds). Other than that, and not all campsites have the same issues, this place is beautiful. We camped in Nov, so it was a but cold.
@HowardT9719815 · Camped on Nov 17, 2024 at Campsite #16
The campsite had three big bins of refuse that appears to have been there for quite some time. Additionally, the vegetation made it difficult for a 9foot high sprinter to navigate. We also noted that the sites were shallow for parking and the amount of space for turning around was quite limited and accessing the highway was not done easily from a safety point of view.

No shower, it was very bad

Beautiful fall days in a lovely, friendly setting. The camp host was away while we were there, but substitute camp hosts kept us well stocked with firewood and had everything nice and tidy. Cory does an amazing job with upkeep of the actual campsites, raking around the tables and fire pits after people check out.We did have a fluffy skunk visit our campsite a couple times while we were there. Thankfully, neighboring dogs did not spook the skunk, and we left with a cute story to tell. Would return again. Since we had quite chilly mornings (even one with snow), we enjoyed our early mornings with lovely breakfasts at Indian Gardens Cafe just a couple minutes up the road.

We enjoyed the camp; however, we wished that it has multiple baths rooms in different places and longer or wider parking space for a vehicle.

Nice stay at Manzanita campground in Oak Creek canyon. About 15 minutes drive from site to the center of Sedona (many hikes are available between campground and Sedona). Sterling pass hike is right next to the campground. Our site 11 was next to the creek which was quite nice. Fire pit is excellent and sites have a charocl grill as well. Good space at each site and sites were kept clean. Bathrooms are toilet only. Fresh water available. Campground located next to the road that runs thru canyon so some traffic noice but this largely ceases at night.

great camp hosts. loved the location. clean. basic. pit toilets not running water. would stay again and planning on it already. creek is right there and sedonas village is right down the road.

Camp host was amazing. Clean bathrooms and Sedona was a blast.
@ErikJ285432213 · Camped on Sep 23, 2024 at Campsite #18
The camp host was friendly and inviting. The location next the stream and near Sedona was great. The sites are a little close together and near the road (traffic noise and light pollution was moderate.) Vault toilets were clean and better than expected. Overall a good experience.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
