Tent camped for 2 nights for last weekend they were open end of October and it is a beautiful campground. I liked this campsite for the space and proximity to the restroom however, I know now not to book again so close to the creek/road because I could hear the traffic until way past midnight. It was still a great experience. The firepit is nice and deep. The staff at the store/check-in are super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and recommended hiking trails. West Fork is literally a 5-minute drive but unfortunately, there is no way to walk there from the campground which is disappointing. They had lots of good wood for only $8 a bunch and sold nice shirts/souvenirs/snacks. I definitely will camp here again.

Beautiful campground with friendly staff.

Beautiful, spacious and shaded spot. It was 10+ degrees chillier here than in Sedona proper which would be great for prime summer time. I loved this campground and the oversized space. Only complaint is that, as a tent camper, I wanted to use the showers and those were in subprime condition. Would not recommend. Other than that I would definitely recommend this beautiful campground. Campstore and firewood available for purchase were very convenient.

Attendants were very nice and very helpful. Toilets situation could maybe be a little better. Overall great experience.

There was garbage left at our site which the camp host had failed to remove. It was also very smoky from many campfires. We will not return.

The campground hosts were exceptional both days we stayed. All were very friendly and had helpful suggestions besides the west fork trail, which by the way was exceptional.

Stayed here for two nights on site A07, from Tuesday to Thursday. $26 per night - we stayed at Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, which all cost us less than that.We were there with a 25 feet RV and found it pretty easy to get into our spot - however, other spots definitely looked trickier to get into, especially because of all the big trash-cans (is it really necessary to place 5 huge bins directly next to each other?) and stones on the side of the road.Staff is VERY kind and helpful and made us feel more than welcome.The location is good, you can reach Sedona within 30 minutes by car. Theres no store or anything in walking distance, though, and the store barely has anything to offer - so definitely buy some snacks and drinks before heading here. The campground itself is located in a very quiet area. However, our neighbours werent so quiet. A horribly loud generator was turned on until the very last minute theyre allowed to stay on. Turning on their car at like 6am because its a little bit colder.. How on earth are you not able to handle some lower temperatures in the morning and feel the need to heat up your car for like 30 minutes before driving off? - screw the environment, I guess?The restrooms are nothing more than pit-toilets, with no sink to wash your hands. However, they were fairly clean during our stay.The praise that the showers are getting from other reviewers is making me wonder - is there some other shower-facility that I dont know about?! Seriously though.. $6 for an 8 minute shower, when most campgrounds (even the privately owned ones) charge no more than $3, is ridiculous.You cant even choose the temperature; its either so hot that it almost burns you, or its way too cold. The old wooden-doors dont close properly and some of the locks are barely working. The showers werent that clean also, with hair in the drain and on the shower curtain - so why are you charging $6?

Great camp -- in the canyon and trees along Oak Creek. You can hear the highway -- but I don't know how you can get away from that camping in the canyon. This site in particular is very private but if the breeze blows your way, you can really smell the vault toilets -- not pleasant. Also -- the vault toilets were just not as clean as other camps we have been too -- kind of too much of an "ew" factor.

The roads were a little tight for our 34 ft 5th wheel, some low hanging branches

The campground is located about 12 miles from Sedona. The camp hosts were friendly, and the campsites well maintained. There was a small store associated with the campground that had wood and miscellaneous items. Showers were available for $6.00 for 8 minutes. Having access to a hiking trail across the road from the campground was nice. The area was busy with lots of traffic due to the leaves changing colors. We would definitely stay at this campground again if in the area.

Really nice campground right along Oak Creek.

In late October, we couldnt have picked a better time of year to go. This campground was saturated in fall colors, quiet, perfect weather. The showers were hot and refreshing. The camp staff were welcoming and helpful upon arrival. We were in F loop, where you could hear Highway 89, but faintly. Loop A is very close to the highway and the noise, but also close to the creeka beautiful campground and we will absolutely be back.

Great campground. Seems like some good improvements to grounds maintenance and overall service since the last time i visited a year ago. There was a persistent skunk this time that had us on pins and needles at our site but other than that it is a great campground.

Very pretty campground and nice facilities.

Beautiful setting with gorgeous pines across Oak Creek from the road. Many sites have little undergrowth, so lack privacy. The facilities are outdated.

The campground location was great and I found the campsite to be quiet. I had a visit from the local skunk but it was just curious and looking for food. My neighbour ran his generator all afternoon which was disappointing. The pit toilets were not too bad.

Small site but great, skunks at night, beautiful stars
@AllenS2CC6017D · Camped on Oct 16, 2023 at Campsite #3F
Great campground. Showers were wonderful. Only reason not 5 stars was the skunk running around our campsite most of the night

Nice spot on the way between Flagstaff and Sedona
@NashSBBC9CDAB4 · Camped on Oct 11, 2023 at Campsite #A6
Great experience! A bit far from Sedona proper, which is fine for me, less traffic going in and out, but the campground was packed full. It was in great shape, my site was perfect. If you value your solitude, though, you might think about a more secluded site or campground. You are right next to everyone and they can see what you are up to.

Beautiful campground, if you get a good spot. Some sites are extremely close together. "A" loop was nice.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
