Campsites are private here and facilities are clean. Host was great.

Camp hosts were great! Camp sites near the lake are awesome! Bring your own firewood as they do not sell it at the campground. If you are up for a short drive, go check out the Lost Forty.

Hosts are helpful and very friendly. Campsites are well maintained. My only complaint is that the fish cleaning station had maggots and was unusable.

The camp hosts make it worth coming back. Very friendly! The canpsite we had was awesome. We had a lake lot which had enough room the kids to play. Will be back next year, and again and again. This is our second year coming here!

Excellent campground. Private camp sites most with lake side access. Toilets are clean and camp sites are well tended.

Hosts were great. Beautiful and clean location. Convenient to (overgrown and buggy) trails. Site was down too low and flooded.

Nice campground hosts and the outhouses were kept clean and stocked with toilet paper. Very disappointing that the US Forest Service stopped selling wood at the campground. It was such a nice convenience knowing dry wood was available right there. Now you need to haul up what you think you might burn or drive to a resort or gas station when you need/want wood. Really hope the Forest Service reinstates the selling of wood at the campground.

No wood for sale at the campground was a major factor in dissatisfaction. Also, no campground hosts were on site which meant facilities were not maintained — the previous hosts ( Terry and Brenda) were so good and I question why they were not retained.

My husband and I camp for weeks and weeks at Mosomo Point campground every summer. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. The campground hosts, the Felixes are great people, very attentive and helpful to your needs. Sadly enough the Forestry did not offer firewood to buy so the host found a vendor and was buying wood for campers. The hosts were fired for providing so wonderfully for the campers. This is so wrong! The campers were very fond of these hosts and they went above and beyond to provide for the campers. Then they were fired for doing so. Very unfair. Very sad. Very negative reflection on the Forestry. I will not camp there any longer.

I had picked a spot #5 that was ok, but then #12 was closer to family and a better spot. The camp hosts where very accommodating and allowed us to move spots since no one was in that spot. It was a very nice, fun experience.

I have stayed at this campground for years and was extremely disappointed to find out that firewood is no longer available through the campground hosts like it has been....forever. A good chunk of the camping experience is sitting around a campfire cooking brats/dogs over the fire or making smores with the family so needing to go elsewhere for wood was very discouraging. The USFS needs to figure this out and reinstate a means for campers to buy wood at the campground.
@CharlesR402 · Camped on May 21, 2021 at Campsite #17
With no power available most of the campers were running generators well into the night past quiet hours. Actually had to ask the neighbor if they would shut theirs off as it was keeping us from being able to sleep. If you want to hear the loons and wildlife find a campground with power as everyone seems to need electricity these days.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
