Beautiful lake that was perfect for paddle boarding. Nice site that was semi-private, we were able to see campers on both sides. Very clean pit toilet. Nice to have a dumpster & recycling too.

If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, wooded campground on a clear, clean lake this is for you. The amenities are limited, pit toilets and a hand pump for water so I would come prepared with bottled water and plan to cook over the open fire.

The group site was great. Spacious & private for our family camping trip. Nice amount of room for two rv's. Like the trails down to the beach and lake. Nice to have the water pump on site and the toilet also! Good cell phone reception also.

Our site was right on the shore, a beautiful view and easy access for fishing. There was plenty of undergrowth between sites, and all were shady. Mostly quiet campers, as it is 8 miles of very winding and wooded gravel road in either direction. Then there is almost nothing there. You can get ice, convenience store things, but no gas for your vehicle. Be prepared for that at the last town. Vault toilets are kept clean, with plenty of toilet paper. Water has a lot of iron, and sediment. So, you will need to let it settle before drinking, otherwise it is good.

Campsite is very nice as a primitive site. We tented it and the site was relatively level. Didn’t fish too much, but did catch a couple of small bass, 10” - 12”. Keep in mind it was shore fishing. But other reports I read stated the lake is not great for trophy fish. Beautiful lake surrounded by thick timber. Wildlife in camp was minimal, unless you count mosquitoes. The highlight for me was hearing the Loons calling toward the evening hours. Sites can be kind of close together, so keep in mind not everybody respects the unwritten peace and quiet rule. Crying babies is certainly acceptable, but adults disagreeing on various topics of domestic issues should understand nobody is interested in hearing it.(sorry for the rant). All in all, we would return if opportunities arise.

Always clean. The rangers in this region are outstanding, going above and beyond each time!

Great group campsite! Lots of space and privacy. (The ATVs driving through and using the site's bathroom was, while infrequent, annoying, though.) We fit in 3 tents and a screen tent. Nice and quiet. The lake was just down a path. Beach area was clean and water was perfect for the kids. Would go again!

Great place! Should maintain the beach area better. Bathrooms are kept clean by staff.

This campground is atv/utv accessible being right in the trail. Sites are very roomy to accommodate camper trailers and vehicles. Enjoy views of the lake!

I had an overall great stay in late summer, very peaceful and beautiful on the lake. Water from potable water pump quite rusty so if you are sensitive to that I would suggest bringing your own water.

We just love camping at Morgan Lake. it is a yearly tradition for us and the kids enjoy the lake as much as we do. We tend to stay to the campsite as there is just so much to do- swimming, fishing, hiking, and camping etc. if you want a place where the family can disconnect from the devices and connect as people without a lot of others around this is the place for you- NOTE: no running water, showers or other conveniences here! that is what is great about it!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
