Lost Lake Cabins is located in the Eagle River-Florence Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (2 hrs 18 min northeast of Wausau, WI) with an elevation of 1,524 feet. There are a total of 13 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of May to mid October. All sites are currently reservable. 3 sites have electric and water hookups. 8 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $40.00 to $70.00.

My only complaint was the lack of light in the cabins. The camp uses the old, hot low energy use lights. There are better options now that give off much more light, are cooler and save even more energy. The outlets in the cabin were loose from use and could be replaced. Otherwise, the cabin was great, the shower house was clean and heated. Lost Lake was clean and warm. A few too many mosquitos and biting flies, but it is the Northwoods. Had a great and relaxing time.

First time visiting after school started, so quiet and peaceful as nature reclaims its balance. The cabin was nice, but with two sets of bunk beds it was rather cramped. It would be better with just one set. The heating system was wonderful and kept the chill away during our stay. The substitute caretaker wasn't as outgoing as Chase and Lisa, but they earned a well deserved vacation after a busy summer. Lost Lake is a priceless gem in the Nicolet Forest.

Lost Lake cabins are a back to nature rustic camping experience where we had a family get together over a campfire and games. If the weather was nicer their is a small inland lake.

Lost Lake cabins is in a beautiful setting. The lake is quiet and picturesque. Lots of nice hiking near by and around the lake.

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. There were boats and kayaks to rent. I would recommend this place to stay and enjoy the views.

Gorgeous small lake, very interesting walk. Clean spacious cabins, spaced well apart. Bunk beds, nuff said. Cute mouse in the bathhouse, to be expected really. 8 out of 10.

This was a great time, great hosts too. We made it to Lake superior in under 2 hours. The cabins are loaded with outlets. Bring a couple box fans to circulate the air and you're all set.

I had a great time hiking, paddling and fishing. My cabin and the camp facilities were clean and well maintained. The camp hosts Lisa and Chase were available and helpful. This was my second visit and I plan to come back again.

Clean as always. Bed a little lumpy and swayed but very doable for a couple nights. Grounds were tidy as always. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. All in all, another nice weekend at Lost Lake Cabins.

We rented a couple cabins and the kitchen to share time with friends and it was delightful. The kitchen is huge and it was great to have for a group. The host was amazing. Cabins are fabulous and overall a great time. There is a game/mess hall that has games, puzzles, fireplace, books, organ, chalkboard and a lot of windows that can open. Fabulous for the rain day. There's also an awesome hike that is not the lake loop that is quite amazing, must see.

Lovely clean cabins in a beautiful national forest. Multiple hiking trails accessible from property. Quant small towns and great river paddling just a short drive away. if only it were closer to my home. It is in Northeastern Wisconsin.
