Family loved our stay. Ample amount of space for the kids to run around.

Our stay was at site #45. Which is directly adjacent to #46. Basically both splitting a long driveway. Of the number of COE campgrounds weve stayed at, Hidden View has to be at the bottom. The campground and its sites require a great deal of attention and upgrading. Site #45 smelled like an old stale urinal. Needing a good power washing and sanitizing. Seems funny the differences between this CG and Codorniz CG, which is close by and COE managed. Regardless, our stay was extremely quite. With only a few other campers in the area. Staff were very friendly and professional.

We came only for the night and slept over, was calm, getting there at night is difficult by car.

Camped when there was a cold front in Sept. Site #31 driveway has a slight lean toward #33. You may or may not need leveling blocks. It was fine for my Class B. Site #31 has some morning shade until 8AM in the fall. Otherwise, the site will get hot in the summer.

Water was definitely low during the time we went camping(end of August). We knew it was possible for it to be low. Still a great experience. Just went with my mom and 2.5 year old son. He had an absolute blast. Neighbors were also friendly and respectful during nighttime hours.

Beautiful location and not overcrowded at all even though it was the middle of summer. Ranger was very helpful and friendly. Note that the dumping station is close to the entrance of the park. Unfortunately, the womens toilets were not clean.

This site was perfect! Close to the bathroom and shady. Would stay here again. Not in July though, weather was not so great. Ranger was also super friendly and helpful :)

Got there and the people in the camp spot next to me had all their tents up in my spot. There was nowhere for us to set up our tent so we had to sleep in the back seat of our car. Ended up leaving at 2 am because they had their music up so loud.

Hidden view is really the perfect name for this place. I would never have found it, had it not been for Google Maps. It's such a nice spot by the lake. Loads of space for each campground. We were greated by a really nice and helpfull park ranger allthough we arrived late at night. She helped us out with the water supply for our RV and got us set up for the night.

The Rangers were simply amazing. They were helpful, thoughtful, and went out of their way to help us.

The campground was very full and i originally booked for another site but they said that site was very small and unsure my rv would fit so they gave me site 8 which is a volunteer spot. It's a great spot. Great shade. Near the bathroom with excellent phone service.

This park is in the country and has nice tent and RV sites. We stayed in site 32 with our 43 foot 5th wheel. This site is not level so need to bring blocks for front of your trailer. Good view of the lake. Steps down lead to a very nice covered picnic table and big site for grill, dogs, and camping chairs. No ice sold here. Our site was a pull through electric only. We stayed here for 2 weeks and had plenty of time to visit Yosemite Park, Sunkist Fruit businesses and museums in the area.

This site is close to the lake, but you are not able to fish or swim in this part, since it has posted signs. Also,, BE AWARE that this site does not have water!!! We had to get a 100 ft water hose to fill our tank so that we can can water for our stay.
@SharonH5098220 · Camped on May 8, 2024 at Campsite #34
First of all we had reservations at Hidden View. We were almost packed to go. We were supposed to leave on Sunday. We were camping with two other couples and on Friday afternoon we received a text message from a ranger saying there would be no water. We came up on Tuesday we were in camp 31. We had a boat and pickup and were told we couldnt park our boat anywhere. We know you are allowed 3 vehicles per site even though there is not enough space on site 31 to park 3. They said to leave our boat in the lot by the boat dock. I can only imagine how many things would have been stolen.

Best spot on lake!

Site 38. Excellent Site. Unobstructed view of the Lake. Easy back in. Very slight incline but easy to level your RV with blocks.
@LindaS8448936 · Camped on Apr 4, 2024 at Campsite #37
This campground is very clean. The bathrooms are clean as well. It can get noisy with generators and music, but it has been very quite at night every time we have camped there.
@JaniceK6270323 · Camped on Mar 27, 2024 at Campsite #37
Although other sites were spacious, 37C was narrow and the water spigot was located across the street. This campground is fairly remote and offers nice scenery, peace and quiet.

Hidden view is hidden gem! Everything about this campground is amazing! Stayed this campground when we went and back from Yosemite.We loved the view and enjoyed our stay very much!

This was a great campsite. Had good cellphone reception and very nice clean restroom. The cherry on top was that some sites had electric outlets so it was great to stay warm in the windy nights,

We stayed at Hidden view campground for about 5 days in February. Absolutely stunning views of the storm and the clouds. We enjoyed hiking around the lake and watching the variety of birds. The volunteers were super friendly and welcoming and hardworking keeping the park clean. The rangers were always driving around and working. Bathrooms were very clean and nice hot water and water pressure. We had a fantastic experience here in site 22. Thank you Hensley Lake staff and rangers for your kindness and care. Safe travels.

We came here over New Years Holiday weekend with our dog. Our purpose was to get away from the gunshots. booms and illegal fireworks in the Fresno/Clovis metro area. I talked with other campers who were doing the same thing with their dogs. It was completely dead quiet. Not a sound.We come here often. it is always very very good. Clean restrooms and pleasant courteous staff.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
