We spend four days at Site 14 it was very nice. The rangers were friendly. We witnessed some bald eagle action very exciting.

Nice recreactional campground. Some spots have electric and others are basically dry camping. You can reserve your spot early or do it the day you arrive. Showers have decent hot water and relatively clean probably depending on weekday verses weekend. The view is nice if youre in a site closer to the lake. Birds are around and singing and occasional Ranger checks in, depending on when you paid for your site. Roads leading to park arent that great, and a lot of curves, but beautiful landscape!

This is such a beautiful, hidden gem of a lake. I loved the quietness of the campground - no train or road noises in the night. And kayaking was a fun way to be on the water. I must say that this is the best overall experience I have had on this winter trip. Clean bathrooms and a hot shower complemented my stay.

Great campsite, clean, free hot water shower, they also have hand soap. Tmobile and ATT got Cellular service

We thought this was a great campground. Sites are well spaced and E/W hookups are much appreciated. Would love to visit during the summer to see the ranger presentations at the amphitheater. Clean bathhouses also a bonus.

Best camping ground I ever been to, its quiet, clean, beautiful, plenty of space between spaces, and Rangers always on the lookout for safety.

Very large campsite, beautiful view. This is my 2nd time camping on this site.

Space 37 C. Great spot. Restrooms clean, stocked and very close to this spot. Water is crossing the road not on the space, so be aware. Hike spots are nice and very doable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Quiet, clean bathrooms though they could use some updating. Nice playground for kids.

Sure 51 although probably tight for a larger rig, my 23 travel trailer fit with no issues. Near two bathrooms that were clean and well stocked. The only issue I had was the fire pit. It was in a spot that was a bit difficult. It was right next to the picnic table that is chained in place. Other than that, the water was good and the 30 amp power was good. The 30 amp plug needs replacing, but my surge suppressor had no issues connected. The code was needed for the dump station, but the ranger provided the code so no issues.

We live coming to Hensley Lake but are noticing that the restrooms are getting old and definitely need an upgrade, in the very least the showers need to be fixed as the grate that covers the drain is broken and my daughter fell because of it and cut her foot. Also the toilets look gross and I understand its staining but there are ways to remove the staining. Also the new garbage facilities stink. We much prefer having the garbage cans throughout the campsites rather than dumpsters. The rangers also need to enforce the noise rules as there were campers blaring their music and nothing was said to them, playing music at a decent level is fine but when Im all the way on the other side of the campgrounds and can hear it perfectly its way to loud.

Family loved our stay. Ample amount of space for the kids to run around.

Our stay was at site #45. Which is directly adjacent to #46. Basically both splitting a long driveway. Of the number of COE campgrounds weve stayed at, Hidden View has to be at the bottom. The campground and its sites require a great deal of attention and upgrading. Site #45 smelled like an old stale urinal. Needing a good power washing and sanitizing. Seems funny the differences between this CG and Codorniz CG, which is close by and COE managed. Regardless, our stay was extremely quite. With only a few other campers in the area. Staff were very friendly and professional.

We came only for the night and slept over, was calm, getting there at night is difficult by car.

Camped when there was a cold front in Sept. Site #31 driveway has a slight lean toward #33. You may or may not need leveling blocks. It was fine for my Class B. Site #31 has some morning shade until 8AM in the fall. Otherwise, the site will get hot in the summer.

Water was definitely low during the time we went camping(end of August). We knew it was possible for it to be low. Still a great experience. Just went with my mom and 2.5 year old son. He had an absolute blast. Neighbors were also friendly and respectful during nighttime hours.

Beautiful location and not overcrowded at all even though it was the middle of summer. Ranger was very helpful and friendly. Note that the dumping station is close to the entrance of the park. Unfortunately, the womens toilets were not clean.

This site was perfect! Close to the bathroom and shady. Would stay here again. Not in July though, weather was not so great. Ranger was also super friendly and helpful :)

Got there and the people in the camp spot next to me had all their tents up in my spot. There was nowhere for us to set up our tent so we had to sleep in the back seat of our car. Ended up leaving at 2 am because they had their music up so loud.

Hidden view is really the perfect name for this place. I would never have found it, had it not been for Google Maps. It's such a nice spot by the lake. Loads of space for each campground. We were greated by a really nice and helpfull park ranger allthough we arrived late at night. She helped us out with the water supply for our RV and got us set up for the night.

The Rangers were simply amazing. They were helpful, thoughtful, and went out of their way to help us.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
