Such a clean and beautiful campground! The campsites are nice and spaced! We went to the Drive-In located in Marshall one night and did a tube float from Tylers Bend to Grinders Ferry one day- so much fun. Its too hot to hike in the summer but we love hiking there during the other seasons!

Tyler Bend is an excellent campground - as close to being "on the banks of the Buffalo" as you can get for a campground. The place is always well kept, the Group sites would be perfect if the bathroom facility had a shower as well. That is the only spot lacking.

Keep a eye on the weather forecast, especially during the springtime. Hiking and kayaking/floating/rafting, highly recommend. Always watch out for the raccoons at night.

Tyler bend is and has been our go to camp ground for years when we are floating the buffalo. The facilities are well maintained, and the sites are far enough apart. The grill and fire ring at our site had been recently replaced, and we had a wonderful trip.

We had our daughters wedding at Tyler bend amphitheater. It was beautiful. The redemption followed at the pavilion. I highly recommend this place

The campground is great and staff was great but since your cant run generator all night in cold weather the camp ground needs electricity !!!!!
@RichardAF42906 · Camped on Mar 17, 2024 at Campsite #9
There are two reasons for my score:The first is the photos of the campsite I picked (campsite #9) were angled so it appeared it was an isolated site while in actuality it was butted right up on site 10.The second reason, and a more greivious issue, was the constant noise from Hwy 65. It sounded as though the highway ran straight through the campground.I will never stay at this campground again.

Overall Tyler Bend is a nice campground. It was great to have a shower facility available but it definitely needs an upgrade. Also it didn't seem like the bathrooms were cleaned in the 3 days I was there. Site 4 was pretty nice, but it was very close to 5. These two sites together would be great for a group. Cell coverage is great, with multiple bars of Verizon 5G available at all times.

The campground sites were a little tricky to find, we would love to see an easier way to find the group sites especially at nighttime. But other than that we loved our experience and we had such a fun time at our campsite! thank you for such a fun weekend.

Would give it five stars except a camper fired up their generator at 6:30am right across from the camp host and nothing was said. No excuse for that. Generator hours are clearly posted 8am-8pm.

Campground is wonderfully well kept and a great place to stay. The night sky program was my absolute favorite part! Rory is so detailed and makes learning about the work that they do to preserve dark skies so fascinating. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great campground. Shower house is clean, but needs a face lift.

The showers need some attention in the form of cleaning and maybe a hook hung inside.

Even with the amount of people there it was very peaceful.

beautiful campground tended by caring hosts. weekends are crazy busy but weekdays are quiet with come and go traffic. trash pandas can be annoying and the skunks were very brave in the daylight. no mishaps but quite a surprise. welcome center very informative and rangers are helpful to answer questions. one ranger kept us from using a small car to recon our paddle trips. a high clearance vehicle was needed because of road conditions. spent a full week exploring and paddling.

The campground is very nice, cell service on verizon was great. Highly recommend a float, and we saw this cute store in Snowball, just a short drive away.

Easy access to river. Group sites have plenty of shade. Fire pits nice and big. Only 2 showers each male/female for whole campground. Too many handicapped parking spots at group sites and not enough regular spots. Overall great experience!

Good camp ground sites have picnic table, lantern pole, grill and fire ring with grill, gravel around picnic table and large tent pad, water is available around campground. Restrooms are well maintained and grounds are mowed and trimmed. They have a excellent visitor center where you can pick up maps get information from Rangers and informational exhibits on animals, aquatic life, history of park and how it got its start.
@JonathanY84574 · Camped on Apr 21, 2023 at Campsite #10
Great campground, clean and well kept. The bathrooms were clean, well stocked, and most importantly heated. We had 2 sites right next to one another and they had a grill and fire ring with a cooking grate. Fine gravel in the tent pads and plenty of shade. You can get everything you need nearby in either Silver Hill, Marshal, or Gilbert. Two nights great experience. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it has only gotten better.

Great bathhouse and very quiet campground. Great location with a couple trailheads and quick water access. Just wish trailhead that had sign that said scenic overlook .9 miles was accurate.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
