Had a great time. Camp host sells firewood cheaper than stores in town so save money and space and get firewood from the camp host.

Fine. Not a lot of trees for shade. Lots of ground squirrels that are not shy.

The trailer next to us had a loud generator on most of the night! Very annoying! I thought there were rules about generators running at night?

Very nice campground with easy access to Georgetown Lake. Would recommend if you don't ming dry camping.

We love the campground. The only complaint we have is that charging $4.00 per night extra on top of the camp fee to make the reservation online seems excessive and defeats the purpose of purchasing the senior pass card.

Fun place to kayak

Very pretty. We saw a moose family. There were leeches which was pretty gross. Camp host was very nice.

The host at the campground were excellent. We had a mechanical issue with our trailer and the hosts were very accommodating, along with assistance from fellow campers.

My family and I stayed here for the 1st time to celebrate our daughter's birthday and visit some of the local attractions last week. Our experience here was wonderful! The roads within the campground are in great shape, there is ample space in each campsite with picnic table and fire ring. The campground is overlooking Georgetown Lake. There is not much shade, as many of the trees in the area were hit hard with a beetle infestation. Campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was a group of campers not adhering to the recommended bear safe food rules. Lo and behold....they had a visitor just before dark one night. People, if you come to the bear's home to recreate, please be mindful of your food and other attractants. Bears lose their lives each year because of our mistakes! Wonderful campground! We will definitely be back!

For the most part, very nice campground. Sites are far enough apart for privacy. Trees are starting to grow back, which makes it much better. Some sites don't, however, have enough space for a camper, vehicle, and boat. Seeing as this site is by the boat launch, I feel they should be bigger because the boat launch parking area is quite small. We did have a bear in our campground, but it's a woody area. Plus, he moved on without a bother. There was also small leaches in the mud, that covered the kids. So, I recommend staying out of muddy beach areas and using the stoney rocky beach area...no leaches there. It was a pleasant stay and nice to be out in the woods. The campground was very quiet.

Wonderful campground on Georgetown lake. The camp host Michelle was very nice. Would recommend!

Beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. Spacious sites (site 004 was nice for tent camping). Some noise from the boaters on the lake. Lots of clean bathrooms and water pumps. Because of the open lake views, it gets quite cold at night, so make sure to layer appropriately for sleep!

Campground hosts were amazing, fun times.

The campground and vaulted toilets were very clean. The camp host was pleasant and very to get talk too. My only complaint is pet owns not picking up poop around the camp site and dogs running around off leash.

Beautiful site but not much privacy. Coming from Anaconda you will pass the first Georgetown Lake Road sign and go to the top of the lake. You will turn left and go over the dam, but there is no sign there with words saying Georgetown Lake Road.

Really nice and quite campground. Space was tight for our 39ft toyhauler but was still able to use the rear deck! On the ridge line there were huge hawks? flying around which was really cool. Road into the campground can be pretty rutted thanks to a couple dump trucks making about 20 trips a day passed the campground (had to listen close to hear the Jake brakes). Lake is surprisingly warm and remains very shallow near the shore. Would recommend and we will stay here again.
@RichardC545 · Camped on Aug 9, 2021 at Campsite #10
Nice campground and well maintained. Shore fishing requires a bit of a walk, or drive, but otherwise very nice spot. It will be nicer when the pine trees come back for more shade and a wind block.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
