Lady greeted us at the office. Campsite was blown off and clean. Nice view of the lake. Quite night of rest. Everything camping should be.

We have been to Beards Bluff several times and considerate one of our favorite places to camp. The campsites are really nice and the bath houses are exceptional. We camped there with friends and now they are considering Beards Bluff a great place to camp. We look forward to camping there again soon.

Very nice, quiet camping!

Site 16 was a nice pull through with a shelter over the picnic table area. The pull through is paved, and somewhat level front to back, but slopes down left to right to the right about 3 inches. Closer to the bathhouse and up from the lake shore. The site is well spaced from other campsites. I would return to this campground and this site again. Camp hosts were great.

This is a very nice campground with nice, graveled, roomy sites. We had a shelter over our table, which was nice. Roads are good. Jeff & Shirley were Fantastic Hosts! Very caring, friendly, and efficient! They, along with the maintenance man, were always checking things around the campground to keep it in good condition.

This is a small campground but the sites are very nicely spaced. It was quiet. The lake was very pretty & huge. There is a couple of grocery stores in Ashdown Walmart & Brookshire for groceries. Wasn't much for attraction or things to do in this area unless you drove to Texarkana or Nashville. The camp hosts were great.

I camped during the off-season, in late December and early January. Very quiet and peaceful. My campsite was ideal, being paved and perfectly level, and very close to the bath house. As usual, the facility was kept very clean and I enjoyed my stay. However, even in the off-season, the maximum stay is 14 days. At many other ACOE facilities, you can stay up to 42 days during the off-season, but the Little Rock District has not reinstated that rule. There were only 2 other campers in the lower campsite other than myself. I never got the chance to go fishing, but I enjoyed my stay and would easily recommend Beard's Bluff to other campers. I stayed in site 15 in my 25' travel trailer. The local Ashdown ACOE office was open and available and the people there were friendly and "at your service".

It is a very affordable campsite, beautiful scenery. The bathroom and showers were close and very clean. The only thing that I did not like is the gates were left open so people that were not camping could drive down there. I think they need to keep the gates closed and install a gate code. However, there is a couple that stays on site to overlook the place, and the sheriff made a drive through, making it feel safe.

We were walk-ins. It was so easy to find a great spot. The host welcomed us and asked us if we knew how to reserve it and we had no problems. While setting up, a volunteer came by to make sure we were ok too. The restroom/shower facilities were clean and pleasant too. Loved the campground and lake. Very peaceful and clean. Definitely will return.

Large paved sites. Clean park and restrooms. Helpful and friendly gate attendants. Liked seeing "Fred, the gator, near the campground. (In the water!)Nearby "Old Washington" State Park is really a historic site worth spending some time at. We also went to Hope, AR to see President Clintons childhood home.Would have like to have spent more time exploring the area.

Recently we spent an extended stay at Beard's Bluff, Millwood Lake, between Saratoga and Ashdown, Arkansas. We originally were in Site 10. After leaving we had trouble with our tow vehicle, had to return and extend our stay until vehicle was ready. We moved to Site 8. Feel very blessed to have been at this campsite with outstanding hosts Jeff & Cheryl Hicks along with fellow campers. Sunsets each evening were breathtaking along with being entertained by the many birds and "Wally" the gator who could be found sunning himself every day.

Nice park and the host were very nice. Enjoyed our stay with a nice lake view but be aware of ants. We got a few ants inside our Motorhome and had 100s on the outside. Took us a couple days but got rid of the ants.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
