We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks vacation at cottonshed campground. Bathrooms & showers were always clean, campsites were always taken care of and gate attendants were always friendly and accommodating. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. We will definitely be back again! I highly recommend this campground.

This was a great campground for us. The whole place was clean, well organized and the host was very nice. He checked on us and visited a while and made us feel very welcome and invited us back. We will always try to stay there when going on our trips through Arkansas. Keep up the good work. It makes a difference to us.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the campground host. He gave us a map and explained the lay out of the campground. The sites are paved ,level asphalt pads and spread out. Electric and water are at each site.Many sites are right up against the lake. Restroom facilities were nice and very clean.I would definitely return when traveling through this area. Army Corp of Engineer campground are the best!

Everything we dreamt about in camping. But what made us absolutely love this place was the camp host. Stan reeder. the kindest, most attentive, diligent host we ever had the pleasure to meet. Restrooms were the cleanest weve seen since we started camping at coes. 2017 Nice paint. Nice shower. Perfect. We extended our stay just to enjoy Stans hospitality and his wonderful park. Walmart is about 20 miles away. Dollar general is 6 miles away. Its a dry county so BYOB.

Off the beaten path, but what a gem! Sunsets were beautiful, the handicapped bathrooms for Sites 1-24 were large and clean. Park Attendant Stan was absolutely wonderful & helpful, working with us to move from Site 24 (BEAUTIFUL but no shade cover) to Site 25 (full shade). A basketball hoop and Disc Golf are available if you arent a fisherman (the alligators seemed to have frightened the fish away from the pier while trying to fish).

Very nice campground with the nicest, most knowledgeable host I've ever met. The only negative was the bathrooms were not kept very clean.

This is a beautiful park. It is back in the woods but beautiful views of the lake. The camp hosts are very nice and very helpful. We were in site 42 beautiful views and always a breeze blowing. We were there at a bad time of year for the first hatching of mayflies. The mayflies were pretty bad, and you couldn't really sit outside. We noticed that they were not to bad at sites that were in away from the water. I would stay here again if in the area. Very peaceful, not busy at all when we were there.

Site 34 is a level concrete pad with a stunning lake view. This campground is unique because each site has a railing around the picnic table and fire pit area that feels like your personal deck. The campground is remote and VERY quiet.

This place is a well kept secret. It is a bit tricky to find, and down a long bumpy road. But what a joy when you get there! Almost every site is waterfront, level and has good utilities. The lake is quiet, and very pretty. We did not use showers or bathrooms so cannot speak to them.

This is a great place! Only about 45 minutes to the Crater of Diamonds. Nice, clean, quiet. Beautiful sunset views. Great fishing. If Im ever in the area again, I would definitely go back for another stay!

Cancelled by park due to construction not being finished. We were placed in Beard's lake park where bathrooms were out of order. Had to drive down the road to shower or dump. Drive to boat ramp. Ground was mushy. Terrible place!
@PennyS3431889 · Camped on Mar 13, 2024 at Campsite #40
We game fishing for the white bass. We were not disappointed! The park is an excellent place for camping with your family. There is a playground for the grand babies and playground for the older out fishing lol. We caught fish, and had an excellent time at our campsite. It is very clean and cozy. We had tents and camper.

I was here in the off season and they were still pretty busy. Was nice and quiet. Sites were well taken care of and spacious. My site was very level. Bathrooms were clean with warm showers. Camp host came thru several times a day and always stopped if he saw you to make sure you didn't need anything or if you was enjoying your stay. Internet was spotty but if I didn't need it for work would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed my visit here.

Beautiful location. It is off the beaten path some but worth the drive. There is good space between sites with trees. Lake side sites give an awesome view of lake but the North Loop still close enough to see the lake. Dan, the Host, was very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night but will go back next time through.

Beautiful, clean park for rv camping or tent camping. The park host and staff are friendly and helpful. Stan warned us about an upcoming thunderstorm and John kept every campsite tidy. The restrooms are well maintained and very clean. Hot showers work well! The sunsets over the lake are breathtaking. The fishing is top notch. This park is a hidden gem. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

The camp site is well maintained. Friendly attendant's clean restrooms and showers go there every year. Just an overall beautiful place to camp.
@CynthiaP784303 · Camped on Sep 20, 2023 at Campsite #37
The campground is well cared for. The attendant in charge was great and very helpful. He came around and told us the burn ban had been lifted so we could build a fire for my grandchildren. I couldnt get the previous page to work, but he deserves the top rating. We enjoy going to Cotton Shed because its always mowed and clean. Mr. Reeder does a wonderful job!!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
