We encountered an infestation of yellow jackets all throughout our site (92) and nearby sites too. It appeared that the downed trees on the site were covering there large burrows/holes of their home.

Josh, the camp host was very helpful. The area was clean and all our neighbors were respectful and friendly. Will come back again.

Clean, well maintained and close to many local amenities. The local archery class was great as was the neighboring disc golf course.

The campground itself was absolutely beautiful. There was always a staff member to help and they were very accommodating. I had campsite 038, but then my group found out there were a lot of yellow jackets and I am allergic to bees, so I was not taking my chances. We spoke with the manager at the front desk of the lodge and she was extremely understanding. She helped us look through what else was available, gave us a map and an opportunity to look at the different sites so that we could switch to it. Even though camp host was helpful in giving us suggestions. We ended up switching to site 05, which was a bit smaller than site 038, but nonetheless, a great experience. Site 038: very spacious, lots of ground and well shaded. The bathroom is just a short walk away across the path. Theres two water sites there as well. Site 05: this site had more shade, lots of pine cones, but we moved them easily. This site was right across from the camp host and had a bathroom right across the site. The bathroom was closer of a walk at 05 than 038. Overall, our experience was absolutely wonderful. My only complaint would be the Yellowjackets but that is not the sites fault, that is just nature.

We are frequent campers to Table Mountain with our MH. Asphalt on roads and sites need repair. 0-1 bar with Verizon. Easy drive to campground. Limited sites for 32+ rigs. Good food and music at lodge on Saturday nights.

Nice campground close to town. Minimal sites for larger rigs. Lodge has food and weekend entertainment.

The trashcans were overflowing, the restrooms were messy and the campsite was really loud, they don't enforce quiet hours.I stayed at 079, APAC and it barely had any shade so bring a canopy or something to cast shade, I don't think I'll be returning.

Great campground, with most sites spread out. Lots of trees, nature trail, and higher elevation for cool, clear nights! Camped here with my family for the 2nd time. Will definitely camp here again.

lovely views, each site is very spaciously set apart

Sites 48 and 49 are the two best one, sun sets right behind them. The bathrooms on the Osage loop were all full of flies and smelly.

I like everything.

We stayed at campsite 81, it felt away from a lot of the crowds which was nice, though further from the views of the mountains, which we didn't mind. The campground itself is very spacious and beautiful. Surprisingly no bear boxes at the campsites. The first night everyone was surprisingly respectful for being 4th of July weekend. The 2nd night, which was a Friday, the quad site (25-29) which was right behind our site on a hill, was incredibly loud and disrespectful, yelling and playing music past midnight (quiet hours start at 10pm)! The camp host failed to enforce these rules and the noise echoed down the hill at the rest of the campsites, making it very difficult to sleep.

PROs:- Very nice campsite.- Not that far from restrooms.- Water and trash container just a few steps away.- Big spot as it doesnt have campsite to left side.CONs- Even that campsite 31 is big, not so many evenly spots to put a tent, I would say 1 or 2, or 3 if you go a bit far from parking spot.- It has a big spot with no trees around fire pit and table so you better keep moving those chairs.We went there to celebrate wifes birthday (July 4). I did loved the campsite, some people from other sites were so respectful, others from quad campsite were celebrating until late late night. Big concern about restrooms even though we had 3 restrooms around there are nobody was doing maintenance to them so flies, bad smell. I went there years ago and those restrooms were so clean now looks like they don't have enough maintenance people to kerp those clean.

campsite 69 was in a nice shady spot with everything we needed. restroom a short walk away but far enough not to smell it. the views were amazing from the amphitheater. people working at the lodge were nice and helpful. our neighbors talked continuously but thats not the campgrounds fault.

Lot 16.Very comfortable. Good view.Not so windy as another side.cons: there is a lot of dust at the place where the tent is set up. But I think it everywheres

049 campsite has a good view of the sunset and it was the best! The only thing was,there was a lot of bugs in our area. I'm not sure if that's the same for the other campsites, but ours had a variety of different bugs flying around. No matter, it was still the best experience for us.

Nice camping spot close to LA. Jackson Lake is great for fishing and only 10mins down the road. The Mountain High North Lodge is so convenient, they have snacks and some camping supplies. 10/10 would go again
@GlennW8329771 · Camped on Jun 18, 2024 at Campsite #81
Stayed midweek for two nights and it was nice and quiet. Campsite had good shade, a flat parking spot, and a level tent pad. Downside was that the site was too close to the neighboring campsite. Given the cost, I was surprised the vault toilets were not cleaned or restocked over the three days I was there.
@TerryM4266339 · Camped on Jun 13, 2024 at Campsite #19
There was only one road to access the campground and not from the regular Highway I spend hours driving around those mountains trying to locate the campground and eventually stayed at another campsite where I wrote on the Note that if the road had actually been open I would have made my campsite and stuck it in the Iron Ranger. It doesn't help to have a campground that the road is closed to get to it. That was my only negative experience in the national parks and National Recreation Area system everything else has been great but when two out of the three roads are closed to get to the campground they're really needs to be some kind of notification on the website Because by the time I found another campground I was so exhausted that doing another 200 Mi reroute was out of the question

We had a pleasant stay but we only come during the week when not so crowded. So much better since Mountain High Resort is managing things now. The North Resort serves tasty food, cold beer "a little pricy" and the staff are friendly. We have been coming to this campground for about 50 years and never get tired of it. We will stop coming when campfires are not allowed, please don't punish responsible folks kick out the irresponsible!!
@BrianW1026295 · Camped on Jun 5, 2024 at Campsite #21
I went mid-week to escape the crowds and noise, and overall, this worked. There was some work being done to the campground but it wasn't real noisy or invasive. One thing I wasn't expecting was the insects. Will plan better for this next time.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
