Stayed at site 55 with a 2 person and and 3 person tent. I had been planning to set up on the parking pad because the description said there was no room for a tent at the site, but that was not the case. There were clearly used spots away from the firepit to set up tents. Being right next to the garbage cans means that people walk through your parking pad to get to them, but it was not really a big deal as it mostly stopped overnight. A lot of the sites nearby had grass growing right up to the firepit that seemed like a pretty big fire hazard. I clipped a bunch away from ours, but I'm sure it'll grow back. Seems like a bit of landscape maintenance on the firepits would be welcome.

Site 31 was excellent! Close to restroom, but not too close. On the end of the row, with two picnic tables and two trees perfect for a hammock. The campground was quiet, yet close to a tram stop, so we were able to get to Curry Village quickly for showers and take the tram to the Ahwahnee for dinner. Very nice when you are tired from hiking and enjoying Yosemite's scenery! Bears did come through, but the rangers were on it and gently herded them along with sound and lights. We will definitely try for this spot again!

The description for site 70 in Lower Pines Yosemite says that it has shade, but in June it only had shade early in the morning. Ended up leaving 2 days early, because without shade the heat was too uncomfortable. Otherwise, site 70 is in a good location close to the restrooms and trash cans with little traffic. Lower Pines is reasonably quiet and beautiful. Smoke from campfires used for cooking and entertainment were bad at times, but what's a camping experience without a campfire. Flowers were in bloom and the waterfalls were spectacular. According to the park staff, there was some bear activity in the campsite during the night, but we never did see any bears.

A very nice spot with a view of the waterfall. The campground is located down in the valley of Yosemite NP which is beautiful.The spot was big enough to fit our backpacking tent, but no big tents or you should use the RV pad

No bad place to camp in Yosemite but this was adjacent to many great trails and the river which was nice. Please be very mindful to put all food, toiletries, and coolers in bear box before leaving camp (day or night).

Great campsite though June maybe too hot for my crew and dog. Tons of mosquitoes by Mirror Lake so beware.

Camping in the Lower Pines Campground was amazing! Gorgeous views of Half Dome and right next to the Village where they have plenty of hot food to grab. It will be a dream to be back!

Bring bikes. It's the best way to get around. Amazing views. Great camping experience.

Excellent location with beautiful views. Walking distance to Curry Village and several trailheads and not far from Yosemite Village (especially by bike) My campsite (#55) was small but fine for me. It is next to the trash and recycle bins, but people were respectful about using them. Also, this site has no shade. Camp host was very helpful and welcoming. Minor inconveniences were worth it for being in the park!

Peaceful in the trees. Near the bridge, while in the campground, is a great public spot to get to watch Alpen Glow on Half Dome.

Campsite was nice, as we were walking distance to mirror lake, Happy Isles, and Camp Curry. My only complaint is that in the evening, all of the campfire smoke from other campers just sits in the air and makes the whole campground smokey.

We were lucky to have perfect weather. Our Lower Pines site #39 was right on the river so we were able to launch our raft directly from our site. The rafting on the Merced River was awesome and we made 3 trips in 3 days (about two hours of blissful floating, no whitewater). The site is also an easy shuttle trip to the start of the Mist trail and the Four Mile Trail (up to Glacier Point). Lower Pines is my favorite area for it's great access to the river, the valley and Curry Village.

We came in during Memorial Day weekend. This was a decent stay, with a good view of half dome, and a good access to Curry Village by walking distance through the board walk meadow. Unfortunately, a lot of people like to light fires which can make this campground very smoky and hard to breathe throughout the night.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
