Waukesha, located in southeastern Wisconsin, offers several nearby camping options. Lapham Peak State Park, located to the northwest, offers campsites with hiking trails and beautiful views of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Kettle Moraine State Forest – Southern Unit, to the southwest, provides a variety of campgrounds nestled within a forested landscape, offering hiking, fishing, and mountain biking.
