The campground was absolutely beautiful. Outhouses were clean, sites were clean, everyone around us respected quiet hours. Visited from Nova Scotia and will definitely be back!

This place is hands down one of my favorite grounds to hit for a few days each summer. You can get there by going up the Kanc or even going up passaconaway road. The hosts are fantastic every year. They have great firewood and the husbands punch lines are always a kicker. They have 8$ bundles of firewood. They do burn quick but theyre still worth it for sure !! They have a variety of sites that range from small to extra large. They do tents and RVs and some paths lead right to the pristine swift river which is a quick walk away. Just up the road are places like the Albany covered bridge, champney falls, lower falls and sabbaday falls you guessed it ! All beautious waterfalls !!! Check them out! They amazing ! This place used to be a hidden gem, but every year its getting more and more popular..

Lovely campground not far from Conway. However feels a world away from the chaos. Little to no cell service. However the area is ripe with green, forest and fun!

This is the best location for camping - close to the river, great sites, close to trails, but the best thing is the water.

The people were very friendly and informative. The campsite was clean and quiet, and close to a lot of great places to hike and see some natural sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and would definitely return again.

Very nice campground. Spring water at a outlet that continuously runs. Sites for the most part are large. This campground has pit/vault toilets so if wind direction is right you can get a bit of odor. Walking distance to the Swift River and Covered Bridge. If you are pulling a trailer you will have to take the back way to the campground as the bridge height is 7.9 feet or less or so. Boulder Loop hiking trail is a decent hike, and there are a lot more hiking trails in the area. You will get motorcycle noise from the Kancamagus highway that you can hear in the campground.

I've been camping here for 20+ years. I've tried other places but always go back to the Covered Bridge.

The campground hosts, Robin and Bruce, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They made us feel so welcome. In all our years of camping, we have never had such pleasant hosts. It's just a short walk to the Swift River, to the Albany Covered Bridge, to the Boulder Loop Trail, and to the Nanomacomuck (sp) XC Ski Trail. The sounds of nature were abundant rather than the sounds of traffic. We loved our campsite with lots of room and privacy. We can't wait to return.

Loved my stay at Covered Bridge! We had the best time exploring the Kanc, and did a lot of hiking and biking!Great campground, very quiet, large siteshighly recommend!

Can not wait to go back again. Super nice camp host, thankyou Robin and Bruce. Very clean and quiet. Sites are big, and not close to your neighbor. My only mistake is I booked a site that required going up a few steps. No big deal, just I am a car camper, so going up and down the stairs was a bit of a hassle, but I made it work for me. And when I talked to Robin about it, she did offer to try and move my site. Which I thought was so nice of her to offer. I was at site 41 and I think the odd numbers from 41 and up, have stairs. Very clean bathrooms with pit toilets, Just, no sink. On Conway end of the Kancamagus there is a Dunkin Donuts (right turn onto RT16) for those of us who just can't go without. Not too far. Maybe about 20 minutes there and back. Also, First Stop Pizza, (left onto RT16) little place on the right. Great pizza, mmmmmm. See ya next year. :)

Good experience with nice, large campsites and beautiful location. Showers would have been appreciated. Close to hiking trails that are worth a visit.

I love this campground. It's near local attractions and the main roads, but also very close to the Swift River and fun hiking trails. The amenities are convenient (water, restrooms, trash dumpster, camp fireplace). My only complaint this visit (late August 2023) was that the ladies restroom closest to our site smelled awful (long summer?) and the trash dumpster was close to being full and very smelly. We visited Sunday through Tuesday and would have stayed longer had it not been for rainy weather that week. I will definitely go back again.

We love Covered Bridge Campground. We have camped there for many years, as well as other campgrounds and Covered Bridge is always our favorite. The sites feel private and remote, but there is so much to do! We love biking to the river and swimming, kayaking on the Saco, and enjoying Diana's Bath. We have kids, and we camp with other families and all the parents love that there is no WiFi service at the campground, because the kids (now teenagers) get their heads out of their phones and enjoy the campfire, playing charades, and biking. We will definitely come back to Covered Bridge Campground.

Great area to camp. The Kancamagus Wilderness is the best. One of the rangers was a bit cranky at my group and I (probably because Im an out of State visitor).I love swimming and rafting in the nearby rivers.

Beautiful campground, lots of large sites. Very well maintained. Close to North Conway and Lincoln, but also many hiking trails and scenic views along the Kanc. Sabbaday Falls is a must see. Hope to camp here again in the fall and next season as well.

Nice campsites, beautiful area.
@JeremyA1563017 · Camped on May 26, 2023 at Campsite #14
Firewood is expensive on site, just get some before you get there. No cell service, just drive a few minutes towards turn and you can send all your messages. Park host are not very helpful, they lack knowledge on wildlife and what to do in the area. The water near site 37 is delicious, don’t use the water near site 14 lots of sediment in water. Great campground for small campers or tent. Pretty quiet and private. Not too far from the beautiful streams.
@GaryW8456397 · Camped on Sep 19, 2022 at Campsite #14
It would be helpful to have a clearer sign at the Kancamagus entrance. We missed it in the dim light. Part of the problem was distraction by the much more obvious sign across the road, for another campground. Our hosts were very friendly. Campsite and facilities were fine. We would stay there again if our travels took us nearby.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
